Proverbs 6:6-11
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
9 How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?
10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest—
11 and poverty will come on you like a thief
and scarcity like an armed man.

Let’s look at these verses with a different perspective than the usual “don’t be lazy and work otherwise you’ll be poor”
This passage can explain why many people are in a deep unconscious sleep unable to get what they truly want from life. Could it be that you’re not reaching your goals because you’re not pushing hard enough?
Time flies when you’re distracted with mundane things and one way or another we realise that we’ve been putting our dreams aside and didn’t actively pursue them for weeks, months or worst ... for YEARS. Everything in life is earned, not given. And it’s sad how many of us stop chasing our dreams after few setbacks.
So today I’m encouraging you to leave your comfort zone and try harder. Readjust, refocus, make a plan, start again. Make every day count.

I personally struggle with procrastination and I know how bad it can impact your life. Next time you feel unmotivated, remember that some ants somewhere are working harder than you. Develop some sort of discipline and fight laziness at all cost.
