Thanks Shlayne. But I'd like to see some real evidence from a non-end-time-prophecy-believing-religious-group source to validate that there are actual plans which are actually about to be implemented for a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem on the sight of the old temples that could Scripturally be called "The Temple of God." I've been hearing this stuff for 30 years now but have never seen any believeable evidence from a source other than from last-day-prophecy-buff sources.

LOL. I went to that site and whoa!! My question is, how can the priest be holy when God put a curse on them? I assume only God Himself could remove the "dung" off their faces.
This isn't being antisemtic but showing what God said about His priests. Guess most christians never read malachi as it is all a prophecy against those rulers in Jerusalem, and is all fulfilled and Christ is the new High Priest, even for Israel.

It can't happen while that muslim dome sits there , that dome needs to come down first .

There have been previous attempts to blow that dome up and there's no shortage of people who would like to blow it up tomorow if they could .

All it would take is for one lunatic who thinks he is doing the will of God , and there's no shortage of them.

An Australian christian has already tried it , he tried to burn the dome down and was eventualy caught , ( no it wasn't me...lol )

He was found to be insane .

It can't happen period. There will never again be another physical "temple of God." Many christians are waiting on something that will never be and basing their theology on this thing. If the Jews or the Baptists or the Pentecostals or the Catholics decide to build a "temple" on top of or under the Dome...it will still NOT be "The Temple of God." There is only One Temple of God and it isn't and will not be in the physical Jerusalem.

This is, in itself, an abomination to God. It denies the Sacrifice of Yeshua and the New Covenant order of Melchizedek.

I don't believe the third temple will in truth be a temple to God where God resided like in the OT, but an effort by Israel to build the temple of God.

And, of course, from a Jewish source, which you asked for a source other than us endtime nuts , they do not recognize Jesus as Messiah. Of course, they are in darkness. However, during the tribulation, I believe that many will turn to Christ. Please be aware that I don't go along with the fellow in the source I posted...I simply was giving you the requested source that others were looking to rebuild the temple other than futurist Christians. Didn't you aks for that?

Hi FIC. Thanks. Even if it is built, it has nothing to do with Daniel's prophecy or the Olivet discourse. Revelation is about both of these, which was fulfilled in the first century. That is all I was getting at. And believe, I will not be worshipping there or even thinking about it, because as long as they continue to disbeive in Christ, they are not God's chosen royal Priesthood, WE ARE and anyone that believe in the faith that is of CHRIST.
If they want to build a temple, fine, but it has nothing to do with Daniel or revelation in this world AGE today. Revelation is about 10 kings being led by God to destroy a Great City/Harlot, Jerusalem, not a worldwide event. Anyway, God bless with peace and love.

I just think that if there were really imminent public plans to rebuild a great temple in Jerusalem and reinstate the Levitical priesthood and sacrificial system, someone OTHER THAN christian endtimers and Jewish sects would have brought this out by now. Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, CNN, Fox.....somebody... would have already had a special on the subject. No, not Perry Stone, either.

Anyway, my point remains that even if a "temple" is built, it will not fulfill the prophecy of Paul about the "man of sin" sitting in "The Temple of God." Because it won't be a "temple of God." It's not possible for a Jewish temple to fulfill that Word.

Of course you are correct if we read the Bible like God wants His people to read. Only one city in the whole world is mentioned by Christ as being the one in Revelation, Jerusalem. Besides, God anger will burn forever for the jews of Judah.God bless.

I think you missed the point. I'm not talking about knowing the Truth. I'm talking about believeable evidence outside the religious community that Jews have the plans and materials all together and are about to begin building a "temple of God" in Jerusalem. I say no such animal exists except within the mind of "left-behind-series-pre-trib-rapture christians" and a maybe a few orthodox Jewish sects. After all these years, still just rumors....kinda like who killed JFK and UFOs.

The body of Christ consists of both jew and gentiles that believe in Christ. His letter were addressed to all believers in Christ. In fact, Jesus shows us who the den of "satan" was. God bless.

What is the "temple of God" spoken of here? A Jewish temple in Jerusalem? Why would Paul call the temple of God here a Jewish temple in the latter days but define the temple of God in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 as something else?

Good point. reve 11 shows one in heaven and one on earth. Why would there be one in heaven Shadows and copies I guess. I am glad you brought that up because I never looked at it that way before. God bless.

This one is actually measuring "worshippers" in the temple, so this has to represent "jews/Israel" I believe.

My take on this is that he is calling the jewish temple that will be in jerusalem the temple of God because that is what it will be to those who will believe that this man is indeed God.

Jews expect their messiah to come to his temple and from there to rule the world , so i guess it will effect everybody including gentile christians who should know exactly what Paul means when he says "he will sit in the temple of God". ( a jewish temple )
