Steven Greydanus and Mark Shea are both long-time Internet friends of mine, with whom I've had a number of conversations over the years. They're both sensible Catholics with whom I sometimes agree, sometimes disagree, and they seem to have similar points of view. The article author seems to dislike something about Mark Shea -- do you know what it is?

His liberalism. Trying to insert his politics into his faith to attack others he disagrees with.

I used to check Mark Shea’s posts every day. But it’s been a long time now. His politicking just got too much. And I can on occasion get into politicking myself, neither fond of Democrats or Republicans. I think he just drank the coolaide. I get nothing out of reading it any longer. He was great. But that was then.
