Conclusion? Despite issuing a report purporting to support the idea that Richard Sternberg was discriminated against, a Republican report basically demonstrates how completely without merit his complaints were.

Key points:

1) he didn't suffer ANY material indignities. All his claimed abuses turned out to be misrepresentations of policies that affected all staff, not just him, and had nothing to do with him or his case in specific

2) the only thing he has ever been able to demonstrate is that people got angry with him for his conduct, and expressing it PRIVATELY. Sternberg and his allies are the ones that made the criticisms public
... and now seem to demand that such criticism be silenced.

3) Even despite the fact that his colleagues felt he had acted improperly and then tried to play them for political gain, they still bent over backwards to accommodate his professional career, and he in fact remains contracted there the same as ever.

In short, his claimed martyrdom over publishing a ID article was entirely phony.
