Step Five?

I am finishing up a Fourth Step, and am getting ready to give it away in my Fifth Step. Problem is, I am not sure who I should give it to. I am not comfortable giving it to my sponsor for a variety of reasons. It has nothing to do with her, it is all about me. I would have liked to give it to Keith, my old treatment counselor, but I can't see him anymore because my insurance does not cover treatment at his agency anymore. I don't know my new counselors well enough to be comfortable sharing it with them, though that might not be a bad idea. I could probably share it with my primary therapist, but don't want to spend a session of my therapy on my Fifth Step. I have a friend from rehab that lives near me that I could share it with, but he is not at his fourth step yet.

I was wondering who you did Step Five with. Would you all mind sharing your Step Five experiences with me. I am not afraid to do it. I am just not sure who the right person would be.

I once heard of someone telling to a stranger on a bus going far out of town. The stranger wouldn't know his name and be living in another town. True story. I hope this will work out for you just fine. God bless you.

I used a microphone and messenger and talked to my sponsor who lived in a different country!!

Now I have one who lives in the same country and I can ring her up - much easier!
