One possible way to get our young people out of the hopelessness that leads them into so much negative and self destructive behavior is to give them positive reading material such as 'Heaven is for Real' by Pastor Todd Burpo about the near death experience account of his then three year and ten month old son.

I am on chapter 27 of the updated movie version of this book at the moment and I am going to encourage my daughter to read this soon.

Reading it could cause her to decide to stay away from very negative music.

Friends of yours watch Heaven Is For Real and ask you about it?

Getting married young was apparently a common practice at the time of Messiah Yeshua - Jesus.

Mary may have been only in her teens when her marriage to Joseph was arranged. This also can assist young people to avoid premarital sex and thus...... contracting STD's.

There's also another side to it: "Marry in haste; repent at leisure."

I think prayer and the Scriptures are the best proven method of effective bc. Condoms don't deal with the root cause.

Yes... I am of the belief that the following scriptures will be fulfilled in the not too distant future.

Malachi 4:5

When our attitude toward raising children is positively altered... so will our attitude toward premarital sex.

A condom might work while the people are not drinking or drugging. They could do it safely for a while, and get addicted to the pleasure, then go after it while using a substance which disables them from using the condom right.

According to how I understand something I just read, there is the cytomegalovirus which can destroy health. It can be passed congenitally and by means of saliva . . . saliva of a child or infant to a woman, or by saliva from one day care child to another. It causes autoimmune trouble.

I agree with it being linked to social media but also media in general. This is a most powerful tool for promoting the worldviews of secular society. We see TV shows that demean marriage and make it nothing to marry one day and divorce the next. We see soft porn on TV in the guise of love matching and see promiscuous behaviour promoted all over the media. We are even seeing children being sexualized through gender agenda's and in the name of sexual liberation by teaching kids that its OK to express your sexuality at a young age and have sex. Then we complain about paedophilia.

At the same time society complains about how young people are getting out of control with partying lifestyles. All this is just being copied by the adult examples in the media society promotes. They react by giving out condoms and the pill which may minimize the harm just as they do with drug taking by giving out needles, creating injection rooms and testing teenage drugs at concerts. For me, that sends a mixed message. No wonder young people are so mixed up and unhappy.

I agree we need to get out a message and moral position on this right first and not pretend that we cannot tell young people what they should do. It has got to a point with political correctness and groups advocating for rights of young people that a parent can't even stop their child from a life of self-destruction and just watch them on the road to death. We need firm leadership and a clear message instead of all this mixed up messages and I believe destructive examples being promoted. But that won't happen as people want rights and freedom to do what they want.
