Are there any Stagate fans here? Which is your favorite show, SG-1 or Atlantis? I'm a huge SG-1 fan, love the movie, and look forward to Atlantis. I'm a syndication viewer, so please use spoilers concerning Season 8 and the spin-off. Thanks!

I still prefer the original series, especially the earlier seasons where they explored the mythologies of ancient cultures, and that sort of thing... they've gone off the track a bit lately.

I've taken a bit of a break for Stargate (watching all 7 seasons 3 times in a row was a bit much), but this weekend, I'm introducing my husband to Stargate for the first time. Cross your fingerse that it goes well

I like both SG-1 and SG Atlantis, and hope they go on forever.

I love them both! But, I think, I lean more toward SG1 than Atlantis. It will be interesting to see how the resolve that season ending cliffhanger on Atlantis though.

I missed out on the first few episodes of atlantis and i don't know whats going on, still love it though.
Love Sg1 with every fibre in my body.

SG-1 and Atlantis are topnotch shows. Not sure if I'll like the changes SG-1 is making in the new season but I'll keep an open mind.

The first season did start out slowly. But it picked up and got better and better as the actors began to fill out their characters as the seasons progressed.

They are getting a new leader of SG-1 and apparently are going to write Jack out.

haven't seen Atlantis but definitely love SG-1...really sad about the changes i hear are coming in season 9....didn't like it when they took out Janet and Hammond but very glad that Daniel is not dead anymore. He is what makes the show great.

There is a season 8 marathon on the Sci Fi channel. Luckly, I have looooovey coworkers who are recording the whoooole thing for me. I didn't have cable, so I didn't get to see season 8. Increadibly lucky for me I get my cable hooked up today, so after I watch all the season 8 episodes this weekend, I can start to watch season 9 on the 15th, like a normal person.
