The Piazza of St. Peter's was designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, believed by some to have been one of the heads of the Illuminati. Did he secretly incorporate Masonic symbols in his design? The first interesting thing about the Piazza is the presence of an Egyptian obelisk, not an item commonly associated with Christianity. The second interesting thing is that the whole thing is based on a combination of a hexagram and a pentagram. While both can be found in other Christian structures, like church windows, I have yet to see the two combined and depicted in secret rather than explicitly. What do you suppose Bernini was up to?
You'll just have to imagine an image below showing what I'm talking about, because this forum doesn't allow posting images until you have 50 posts, which I suspect will never happen in my case. Oh well. If you wanted to exert some effort you could go to the unexplained-mysteries forum, ancient mysteries and alternative history section and locate it (look for "Piazzi St Peter geometry").
