The more quotes I read by him, the more I grow closer to him, and God. I have an uncanny connection with this man, in what he says. Here are just a few of the quotes that I have read that have spoken so directly and gently to my heart:

If anyone has one to add, please add it! I like to share about him. The funny thing is, I didn't even know he was this huge Doctor of the Church until I read a profile of his more carefully. I thought he was just your average saint(if one can say such a thing
). It would have pleased me just as well, had he been no more than a simple saint. However, by some unseen way of things, I always seem to be drawn to the great ones. Oh well, thanks for sharing with me. I hope for all of us to learn some more about him. Thanks
