  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

LOL! Don't worry about that, no makeup will go on my face! This is preparation for my class this fall at LCC which will be preparation for the much more extensive class at Oberlin in January.

Hey Photini!!

I just had a scare with my little Alexei, he panicked at a loud noise and took a leap out of my arms, landing hard on a suitcase. Fortunately, the only thing injured is his ego... I checked his paws and teeth and everything seems okay. Whew! Poor little fella!

Yes, I did say

DO let them apply makeup.

When I appeared on TV several times, I brought my own makeup because the studios use makeup that would have given me hives. The make-up artists let me apply my own makeup and gave me advice.

Trivia:

Who was the presidental candidate who refused make-up for the presidential debates and looked so anemic?
