  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a silly boyfriend. You know why? He lets me take photos like this one and post them on the internet:



It's staged, btw, and yes he knows it's posted online.
The yoshi was a nameday gift last year - he likes yoshi and can do all the noises (he's also casting all of the green lantern corps rings in silver and having them powder coated in the correct colours, and selling them, yes I got myself a geek) so I got him an Andrew sized yoshi - it's about the size of a medium sized dog.

All the best, Photini. Better you than me - I can't draw to save my life. I leave the non-textile artwork to Andrew, he's got a degree in design and is pretty good at it. He should be, he sketches jewellery designs and people buy rings based just on the sketches...if we get married and have kids I hope our kids have his artistic talent! His response to that is that he hopes they're book-ish - they'd get that from me not him. He loves his comic books, but not the kind without pictures so much

I haven't drawn anything since high school. At one time I wasn't too bad. But not great either. Hopefully we will be graded on our amount of effort and improvement than on the actual outcome. I've never painted anything though, but have always wanted to learn. I'll get 2D and 3D design too, which I think I'll enjoy.

Going to Sacramento/San Francisco on a thurs-monday to go to a Nikon School Seminar (2 days) and to go to Theotokos Joy of All Who Sorrow Cathedral in Frisco to go for DL and to venerate St. John's relics.
