Hey friends!
Lots of stuff to get done around here. I'm beat, just wanted to check in. Tomorrow we take off for MD for the weekend and my dear husband will be Chrismated.

OK, and who stole spring? It's wayyy too cold. ICK!

You have a package waiting for you. I hope you like the contents. The Reader Michael's (and his friend Anna's) icons will be shipped to them Saturday morning, after I have then blessed at Pre-Sanctified liturgy tomorrow night. Tell Kevin I said congratulations on his chrismation. I am honored to have written him an icon of his patron saint. How are the dogs? Oliver and Brittany say hi.

Kitty's home and doing well. Now, the problem is going to be keeping him inside for at least a week, until his stitches come out. I'll have to give him somewhere to hide when the pups get too rowdy.

The headache was so bad today I called off work and went back to the doctor. The pain was so bad last night that while I went to bed at 9 pm and got up at 11 am I probably only got half the sleep I could have gotten out of it. The doctor was really good and said somehow I managed to strain the muscles in my neck and this was causing the pain. I must not have been in too terrible of a mood 'cuz I managed to say a few very funny things that had the doc laughing. He gave me a very potent combination of Flexeril, Percocet and Naxproxen which in it's first dose has taken much of the unbarable pain away. This is a good thing because I really do need to be able to paint this evening. Hopefully I won't miss anymore days of work. I have already missed 3 this week.

As for you, I pray your headache goes away. They are no fun and not good for you. If you have an icon of St. Luke put it out and ask him to pray for you.

Glad to hear that the Doctor was able to help you. My headache finally went away around 8:00 last night. I've had a headache every day this week. I'm hoping the CAT scan and MRA will reveal why I keep getting these headaches.

For migraines I take Relpax (prescription), and for my regular headaches I take Sudafed Sinus Headache and Excedrin. I've also been anointing my head with oil I got from St. Nectarios Monastary in Upstate NY.

I hope today is a better day for you.

I guess everyone had such a good time eating fish last night they forgot to check in!

We went to a fish fry at a local German club after Pre-Sanctified Liturgy and the ammount of food they gave us was incredible. The fish was also very, very tasty.

So.... I haven't even left the house this morning, and already I have a number of interesting situations. I can't go into details but they involve an airline mishap, a tractor-trailer accident, a plethora of assorted frozen chicken parts, and a rather odd person at the airport.

I'm almost looking forward to my English test on Monday.
