  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Dear St Anthony, I cannot find the Christmas tree lights, and tomorrows December 1. I've put the tree up, but I cannot decorate it until I find the lights as they are the first decoration to go on. I'm sure I packed them into a box when we moved, please help me find them.

Dear St. Anthony thank for you for getting the crucifix to me.

(I ordered a crucifix over e-bay and it was shipped over 2 weeks ago and I still hadn't got it and I asked St. Anthony to help it not to be lost in the mail and I got it today)

St. Anthony of Padua is the patron saint of lost things. Many many things have been recovered that were lost through his intercession. :) He is also a Doctor of the Church and is known as the Evangelical Doctor. He is also known for a miracle in which the Christ child appeared to him and he held Jesus in His arms once. He is my patron saint.

Another thanksgiving for the intercession of St. Anthony.

Yesterday a friend of mine, Lyn, who moved here from China and doesn't speak English very well and is very backward who I try to watch out for lost her exemption form (an important paper for school).
I looked for it and looked for it, but couldn't find it. So, what did I do? St. Anthony, St. Anthony. As soon as I prayed that, a piece of paper laying on someone else's backpack caught my eye, but I didn't go get it, because it probably wouldn't be to wise for me to get in someone else's bag. I looked some more, but still no luck.

About 20 minutes later the owner of the backpack came to me and gave me a piece of paper and told me it was Lyn's exemption form, and that it was on their backpack.

I was like, whoa.

St. Anthony thank you for saving my grandfather's life.

My grandfather was a slave-worker in German factory during IIWW. They were treated like animals and one day they had enough and didn't want to work more for occupants. Germans wanted to kill them all and ordered them to stay in one line in the middle of some empty large field.
Then they loaded their rifles and started to aim. My grandfather was the last one in the line. In some moment some one said "Don't be afraid, go away". My grandfather turned beck and seen some old man in brown dress with the hood. So he started to walk and just gone away easy. No one tried to stop them. No one seen him walking away ! It was large open field, full of people.
Then he was far he heard shoots. All other men were dead...
My grandfather never was a believer. He never was in church, but he deep believed, that it was St. Anthony, who saved his life in that day. He had always Anthony's picture in the pocket.

That's amazing.
