• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. I am still having a hard time understanding why I was ritually abused. I feel low because of the ritual abuse. It really broke my spirit. I will mostly just call it torture because that is what it felt like to me. The torture was very painful and they even did not let me brush my teeth at night for a time because they wanted my teeth to rot some. This was very painful for me. My teeth have healed but I feel that was a torture tactic. My breath smells fine. I was afraid of my breath smelling bad but there was no changes in it. They were the ones who bathed me and would not let me bathe myself. They did not let me clean myself when I was with them, they forced me so that they did it. It was still ritual abuse because they said it was all dedicated to Satan. They used alot of fear against me and made it so that I was afraid all the time. They did my hair and pulled on my hair when they did it. They made me have sex with other people. They gave me a bloody nose. They said they would make me like the Devil. They treated me very harshly and acted like I was worthless. When they said that they would make me like the Devil that hurt me alot. They said they could make it so that I would never die and never have any peace. They said that it was all a sacrifice to the Devil. They said that they would make me like an insect. I am still very hurt by what they did to me. I will post about it alot because it will help me heal. Thank you for your responses.

You are not worthless! If you have excepted Christ then you are a child of the most high God and wow what an honor! I can't speak on your experience except to say I will pray that God gives you grace to forgive so that you can be free. You could start by praying for those who hurt you and I will pray for you.

The amazing thing is that God's promise to us is that all things work out for the best and no matter what happens to us in life He will cause good to come out of it. If nothing else we know how difficult life can be when God is not a part of it and the last thing I would ever want is to go back to living a life that God is not a part of.

Yes it was. I put a report for her and her abuse. The police did help me. They say she wont bother me again. They could not prove my kidnapping.

I don't fully understand your terrible experience, but it sounds like you were a captive of Satan worshippers. Thank God He freed you from it! Put your trust in God by the Lord Jesus ---the giver of eternal life and blessings. Praise God giving thanks for His mercies and care, friend. For some reason you were allowed such a trial to flee to God for refuge. Stay close to our Creator-God daily by His beloved Son.

Do you read the Bible and seek to know God in a personal way? Hear God speaking to you in John 14 of your Bible, and come to Him and trust Him always!

I believe I sent you a note, Blue, on your profile --Conversations, about your personal relationship with God. Try reading also in the Gospels in your Bible --especially noting John 14. God will speak to you in heart and mind if you are trusting Him. He wants us to know His "...beloved Son" ---the Lord Jesus, for life.
