  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm going to be taking:
1. Critical Thinking and Writing
2. Intro to Humanities from 1500
3. Finite Mathematics
4. Library Services for Children and Young Adults
5. World Music

That's 16 units total, I believe. This will me my last semester before graduating and transferring.

no I'm in community college now, "two year college". I will be transferring to a university so I can get BA degrees. I'll be a junior when I transfer.
But when I graduate at the end of spring 2009, I will get several Associates degrees as well as a transfer certificate that says I'm done with General Ed.

Yay! I loved my History of East Asia classes I took, they were my favorite.
Does your class have a specific time period or location in Asia.. or is it just an overall history of Asia class?

I'm not overly excited about my classes I'm taking next semester (but am really looking forward to World Music). I am excited about transferring though. I'm still waiting to hear back from the school I applied to.
Your classes sound fun. Does your major have something to do with Animation?
