His Commandments are about love; loving God and loving our neighbor.
Do you believe that murdering your neighbor is loving him.

And you follow these commandments perfectly?I’m referring to the ones Paul mentions in Romans and Jesus mentions in Matthew 5:21-22, as well as Matthew 18:21-35 that deal with unforgiveness as well as those Paul mentions in Galatians 5:19-21.
Basically the teachings of Christ have many different things we need to do, which is why John wrote:
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 2 John 9
The doctrine of Christ is also about love; Loving God and loving our neighbor.
Those who hate, do not have eternal life.
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15

I guess my question is: what line do you have to cross in order to be able to say, "I've followed Jesus good enough," or "I've obeyed the commandments well enough." Where does the Bible specify?What does what I do or don’t do, have to do with what Jesus commanded?

As someone who seeks to be saved, I need to know the line according to what the Bible says.I can only tell you what the Bible says for us to do, and say it is by His grace; the Spirit of grace that we have the power to practice righteousness rather than practice the works of the flesh.
He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 John 2:4

If you find it burdensome to love God, then you have a sin issue.
Go to Him and confess your sin, and be cleansed of all unrighteousness.
Invest your time by spending time with Him in prayer, pray in the Spirit, read and study the word, worship Him...
These are ways we can invest or sow to the Spirit.

If you study Paul, the doctrine in the Bible that is specifically to you, you will know that God’s righteousness is imputed to those who are washed in the Blood of the Lamb. It is clearly explained in Romans 3:22-28:first sentence of the post is wrong. What am I to think about the rest of it? Seriously, how does one consider the rest if the post when sentence one is wrong?

I believe this. I also believe one can stop believing in Christ by trusting in other things/ false religion for salvation. One of those things is works. But God is the judge of who is in or out.Any other Gospel that you will hear, that does not give all Credit to Christ Alone for saving you and keeping you saved, is a false Gospel.

IF you read a bible, you'd know.
If you can not receive commandments from God or do any work, what can you accomplish? If there is a commandment against shedding innocent blood and you write commandment keeping is heresy, you cause trouble. If you can give a specific example of a commandment that should not be kept and God agrees with you, you do good.Imagine a forum where those who are washed in the Blood of the Lamb, and who have God's Righteousness imputed to them, could celebrate together the Joy of Salvation, the Joy of the Lord, and find deep teaching for their spirit and rest for their soul.
Imagine a forum where Grace rules in the hearts of the born again, and all Threads that teach LEGALISM = Galatians 1:8 : false Gospels related to "self saving", "commandment keeping to stay saved".. "keeping the Torah to stay saved". "joining a certain church to stay saved" "repenting to stay saved", "confessing sin to stay saved"... all of this "FLESH", Galatians 3 these works of the flesh, that are preached as a hellish substitute and cursed of God denial of the Blood Atonement and the Cross, were eliminated permanently.
Imagine a forum where Moderators and Owners instantly recognize the work of heretics, and understand that JOB #1 is to protect real born again believers from being harmed by their devil designed Theology, and do not allow them to remain on the forum according to Paul's doctrine :

So, let me explain for you exactly where a Believer stops being a believer and starts being a heretic. We go to Paul, as he defined them. He says of them in Galatians 3.... "who has tricked you, bewitched you, fooled you, deceived you", so that you have stopped trusting in Christ alone FOR salvation, both to be saved and to STAY saved, and now you are returned BELIEVING THAT keeping the Law, obeying the commandments, and doing WORKS, = YOUR GOSPEL. = YOUR FAITH...... and That is "flesh". Its Carnal, Its a person who is "fallen from Grace", back into the "flesh", and is now hanging on their own cross of self righteousness.... according to Paul.
"Self Righteousness", = trying to make yourself RIGHT with God, by your WORKS ,EFFORT, DEEDS, LIFESTYLE. = "commandment keeping, law keeping, obedience keeping,, repenting, confessing, church membership, holy living"....
See, the problem isn't doing all that......all those works, but the Legalist, the Heretic, has exchanged them for the CROSS. And that is why they never talk, preach, or teach, about THE CROSS, or the Blood of Jesus.

They instead talk about their "new" savior......Which is themselves, , and they have their list that they have exchanged for Jesus on the Cross. This list is always the same list, no matter the heretic. Paul said this list is "FLESH", and that is because where a LIST has replaced the Blood Atonement...then Jesus is no longer being counted worthy as the One who saves them and keeps them saved.
Here is how it works.... This is the NT math... = If you are born again, and are trying to keep yourself out of Hell, or trying to get yourself into Heaven, ... then you are not Trusting in Christ at all. You are trusting in YOU. and so, Your faith is DEAD.
This is why the proof of heresy, is always one thing.........always........ The heretic, who Paul describes as in the "flesh", fallen from Grace"< will never be able to truthfully say that they are Trusting in Christ alone, to keep them saved..... This is why "once saved always saved" is the Proof test that illuminates all heretics, beginning in Paul's day, till the 2nd Advent.
Listen Reader.. Someone saves you and keeps you saved. And its not you. So, when you are being taught that it IS YOU...then you are hearing what Paul defined as "another Gospel". Galatians 1:8
Heretics can't agree with OSAS, as it would not be true that they believe that Christ saved them and Keeps them saved.. They are trusting in themselves to get into heaven and stay out of Hell, and that is why they only talk talk talk talk about commandments, and works, and live to oppose Grace.
Grace teaches that there is ONE SAVIOR, and He is the Lord Jesus The Christ. And His Blood that has made you the "righteousness of Christ" and an "heir of God", and a "joint heir with Jesus", and "accepted in the Beloved", is why and ONLY WHY.... you go to heaven and not to hell.
Thats the Gospel. There is no Other. Jesus Himself is Salvation. Jesus Himself is Grace. We are sinners who God allows into Heaven, only because of JESUS.
Any other Gospel that you will hear, that does not give all Credit to Christ Alone for saving you and keeping you saved, is a false Gospel.
Philippians 1:6..."being confident of this, that He who "began" a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ...So we only need 6 sections of the bible? Im free to live however i want? Where sin abound grace abounded so much more??? Wake up. People run to Paul and try to hide behind him when they don't want to give up their sins. Quit drinking milk and eat some of the solid meat of the scriptures. Don't be scared to leave the writtings of Paul because you feel safe there and quit leading people astray. All throughout the Bible we see faith and works being one in the same. It's not the works that save you, its the grace of God, and because of that it causes your faith to manifest fruit. If you're not showing fruit there's a problem with the root of your faith.
"What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? alone. without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. vain man, that faith without works is dead? When he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
It has nothing to do with trusting in works. Works should be a manifestation of your faith.
Romans 6:15–16 "What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"
As servants of God, we are to obey as commandments that he has written on our hearts. What are those? Love God with all your heart mind and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. The very act of loving simething takes works, the act of accepting Jesus as your personal savior is a work. Please, grow in godliness, break out of your comfort zone and really dig into the good news of the scriptures.
