Jesus and Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10). God drew me to this specific passage with this specific perspective:

The crowd couldn't see past the 'sin' and appearance, but Jesus saw that Zacchaeus genuinely WANTED to spend time with Him.

"And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.” So he hurried and came down and received him joyfully." Luke 19:5-6

"And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it fourfold.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:8-10

GENUINE love in RELATIONSHIP, NOT OBLIGATION.

REMEMBER TO LOVE. (1 Timothy 1:5).

"Listen to the LORD, you leaders of “Sodom.”
Listen to the law of our God, people of “Gomorrah.”
“What makes you think I want all your sacrifices?”
says the LORD.

“I am sick of your burnt offerings of rams
and the fat of fattened cattle.
I get no pleasure from the blood
of bulls and lambs and goats.
When you come to worship me,
who asked you to parade through my courts with all your ceremony?
Stop bringing me your meaningless gifts;
the incense of your offerings disgusts me!

As for your celebrations of the new moon and the Sabbath
and your special days for fasting—
they are all sinful and false.
I want no more of your pious meetings.
I hate your new moon celebrations and your annual festivals.
They are a burden to me. I cannot stand them!
When you lift up your hands in prayer, I will not look.

Though you offer many prayers, I will not listen,
for your hands are covered with the blood of innocent victims.
Wash yourselves and be clean!
Get your sins out of my sight.
Give up your evil ways.

Learn to do good.
Seek justice.
Help the oppressed.
Defend the cause of orphans.
Fight for the rights of widows." Isaiah 1:10-17

Me too, John Coffey! #Tired Matthew 25:31-46 (The Final Judgement). The Sheep and the Goats.

Find them.

"I'm tired boss. I'm tired of being on the road lonely as a sparrow in the rain. I'm tired of never having a buddy to be with to tell me where we's going to, coming from or why. Mostly I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world every day. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head all the time. Can you understand?" Yes.

"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure." 1 John 3:1-3

Sometimes people stare at me for so long...in audacious animosity. Complete strangers! Demons are incredibly unfriendly. Fear is an interesting emotion. The negative things it can manifest into are endless. A friendly "Hi! How are you" erases some suspicion. I suppose I was just mildly annoyed by the racial profiling coming from the two Hebrews I met at the grocery store. I could see and feel the hatred, bitterness, and resentment through their eyes and presence. How sad for them, to be enslaved by the very thing that they hate! I see why Christ was especially hard on the leaven of the religious leaders who sat in Moses seat. It's to be hated!

Stuck in the gall of bitterness and bond of iniquity. Puffed up by knowledge and generational curses. Let Christ's love unite all things. You must forgive or your sins will not be forgiven. Unforgiveness is a curse that we choose to put on ourselves. Of all the commandments, strive to obey this one in sincerity, or your life will be very, very hard. Rebellious house of Israel. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor TMH (YHWH) God the Father. Your accuser is Moses.

"You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life. I do not receive glory from people. But I know that you do not have the love of God within you. I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him. How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Moses, on whom you have set your hope. For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?” (John 5:39-47).

"Later, when Jesus was alone with the twelve disciples and with the others who were gathered around, they asked him what the parables meant.

He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secret of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables for everything I say to outsiders, so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled:

‘When they see what I do,
they will learn nothing.
When they hear what I say,
they will not understand.
Otherwise, they will turn to me
and be forgiven.’" Mark 4:10-12

"I love this!" (I love food). "I love you!" (I love the money you gave me/I love your physical appearance). "I love it!" (I love your hair). "I love that!" (I love your fancy clothes). "I love my life!" (I love my fleeting, temporary happiness). "I love them!" (I love these shoes). "I do love!" (I love ONLY the people I'm close to, and trust. Everyone else is a stranger, not to be trusted)

With all that "love" don't forget to LOVE. #Wolvesinsheepsclothing

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves." Matthew 7:15

Agape- Agape is total love, the love that devours those that experience it. Whoever knows and experiences Agape sees that nothing else in this world is of any importance, only loving.

"But I will keep on doing what I am doing, in order to undercut those who want an opportunity to be regarded as our equals in the things they boast about. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their actions." 2 Corinthians 11:12-15

Can you call yourself a disciple if you are easily offended or ashamed by the Gospel/Word? This is the lukewarm Christian. The Truth. The Truth that we should be seeking every day. Posting Scripture is not beneficial to you, if you cannot live by your words.

"I know your deeds; you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were one or the other. So because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of My mouth!

You say, ‘I am rich; I have grown wealthy and need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, white garments so that you may be clothed and your shameful nakedness not exposed, and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. Those I love, I rebuke and discipline. Therefore be earnest and repent." Revelations 3:15-19

"Then Jesus said to all of them, “If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet loses or forfeits his very self? If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. But I tell you truthfully, some who are standing here will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:23-27

#Yup "Then they will hand you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another, and many false prophets will arise and mislead many.

Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." Matthew 24:9-14

"You shall appoint judges and officers in all your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous. Justice, and only justice, you shall follow, that you may live and inherit the land that the Lord your God is giving you." Deuteronomy 16:18-20

"Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed." Romans 13:1-7

"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time." 1 Timothy 2:1-6

"When they came to Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax went up to Peter and said, “Does your teacher not pay the tax?” He said, “Yes.” And when he came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do kings of the earth take toll or tax? From their sons or from others?” And when he said, “From others,” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free. However, not to give offense to them, go to the sea and cast a hook and take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel. Take that and give it to them for me and for yourself.” Matthew 17:24-27

"When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but with a man of understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue." Proverbs 28:2

"if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

#Heartposture #HardorSoft #PotorClay So, the night God immediately healed my lower spinal vertebrae in response to my prayer for sleep to heal it, I realized, a new life means I should take care of my temple and keep it holy! Through faith, ALL things are possible but we should honor the new life we were given. I think sometimes the Super-Faith Gurus befuddle themselves from lack of knowledge, in their excitement. They only share the success stories. They omit the countless times they have failed.

"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." Matthew 7:6

"Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the LORD your God is giving you for all time.” Deuteronomy 4:40

"Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple." 1 Corinthians 3:16-17

"Then the devil led Him to Jerusalem and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple. “If You are the Son of God,” he said, “throw Yourself down from here. For it is written:

‘He will command His angels concerning You
to guard You carefully;
and they will lift You up in their hands,
so that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’”
But Jesus declared, “It also says, ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” Luke 4:9-12

Also, some people are waiting for miracles and healings, in order to come to the knowledge of Jesus through the power of God's kingdom!

"As Jesus was passing by, He saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened that the works of God would be displayed in him. While it is daytime, we must do the work of Him who sent Me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

When Jesus had said this, He spat on the ground, made some mud, and applied it to the man’s eyes. Then He told him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means Sent). So the man went and washed, and came back seeing.

At this, his neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging began to ask, “Isn’t this the man who used to sit and beg?”

Some claimed that he was, but others said, “No, he just looks like him.”

But the man kept saying, “I am the one.”

“How then were your eyes opened?” they asked.

He answered, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and anointed my eyes, and He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed and received my sight.”

“Where is He?” they asked.

“I do not know,” he answered." John 9:1-12

If you enjoy being people-pleasers, your calling may not be Teaching. You simply cannot afford to be superficial, vague, or compromising in that office (James 3:1). God is not of confusion, but peace.

Excitement does not equate to clarity or even understanding.

Some disciples will BELITTLE offices in the Church. They are speaking of the realities for THEMSELVES. Just because THEY don't need or want them, does NOT MEAN they are not ESSENTIAL for the Body of Christ. Labels keep things structured, orderly, and intelligible (easy to understand) to EVERYONE. Think about others.

Fearlessness does not equate to irreverent chatter. That's pride. I think sometimes we can be carried off to a distant land by mere emotions that do not come from the love for God, His flock, and His Word. God has placed watchmen in our lives for a reason. We should remember to listen to them. Eternity is not something to joke about whimsically. What does the word "repentance" mean to us? It means our bodies, words, and lives transform out of obedience to God's loving kindness.

"If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first. If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.

Remember the word that I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they kept My word, they will keep yours as well. But they will treat you like this on account of My name, because they do not know the One who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.

Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well. If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father. But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated Me without reason.’

When the Advocate comes, whom I will send you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—He will testify about Me. And you also must testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning." John 15:18-27

Young person,

Growing into maturity does not mean you forget how to laugh, get excited, and enjoy the life God wants for us. It's because we know God's love, that we can be like children in His presence. Stop allowing the thief to rob you of your joy.

"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

"Love must be sincere. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Outdo yourselves in honoring one another.

Do not let your zeal subside; keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, persistent in prayer.

Share with the saints who are in need. Practice hospitality." Romans 12:9-13

Conviction comes from the Holy Spirit to BUILD US UP in love. Do not ignore this little voice. Do not grieve the Spirit. Repentance is a change of heart.

The perpetuation of CRIPPLING/DESTRUCTIVE accusation comes from the Accuser to TEAR US DOWN in fear so we can't minister God's will effectively. Ignore this voice. Do not grieve the Spirit.

DO NOT get the two confused. Being a disciple is not easy, but God is good. That's what makes it easy. John 16:5-16

"For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for a lifetime;
Weeping may last for the night,
But a shout of joy comes in the morning." Psalm 30:5

Matthew 7:15-23/2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, Luke 12:48, Acts 20:35, 1 John 4:1-6, John 3:16.

Semantics in God's Word are VERY important, no mistake about that. However, do not allow semantics to become the foundation of your faith. Christ's love must be the foundation. Be open-minded to a multitude of perspectives.

If I forever interrupt a brother/sister mid-sentence due to a 'scandalous claim/action' that conflicts with my personal beliefs (however 'Scriptural' my personal beliefs are), I may never hear the rest of what Jesus may have been trying to say to me. (Philippians 2:3, 1 John 4:4-6, Numbers 22:22-35).

Prophets are typically very lonely or isolated people. They live at an incredibly deep level of Truth. They have friends, but often only God really understands them. Prophets do connect with prophets, who knew?

A prophet is one who foresees and proclaims what God is revealing at any given time. This is possible through the fulfilling of this Scriptural passage.

"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:1-2

This is necessary to share, in regard to self-control. A fruit of the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23).

"What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up. If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn, and let someone interpret. But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silent in church and speak to himself and to God. Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said. If a revelation is made to another sitting there, let the first be silent. For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all be encouraged, and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets. For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.

As in all the churches of the saints, the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.

Or was it from you that the word of God came? Or are you the only ones it has reached? If anyone thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord. If anyone does not recognize this, he is not recognized. So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. But all things should be done decently and in order." 1 Corinthians 14:26-40

Scripture says that prophecy is subject to the spirit of the person prophesying. This means that it may come with some personal bias, whim, or complete lack of self-control. Perhaps this also gives some insight to the meaning of the word "saint(s)" (holy person(s).

A direct command from the Lord will always override individuals trying to reason implications/inferences from the Scriptures in order to justify otherwise, to accommodate personal agendas.

When it says "He is not recognized" (or she) it means, not recognized by the Lord (as having spoken FOR Him, Jeremiah 14:14, Jeremiah 5:31). They may still be recognized by people.

The way of the Cross.

"And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what can a man give in return for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:34-38

"While Jesus was still speaking to the crowds, His mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to Him. Someone told Him, “Look, Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to You.”

But Jesus replied, “Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?” Pointing to His disciples, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” Matthew 12:46-50

"Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me.’

Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? When did we see You sick or in prison and visit You?’

And the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’" Matthew 25:34-40

"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." Galatians 6:10

"Little children, let us love not in word and speech, but in action and truth. And by this we will know that we belong to the truth, and will assure our hearts in His presence" 1 John 3:18-19
