Spiritual Warfare

Satan’s fighting me in battle,
Tries to block the voice of God.
Does not want me sharing Scriptures,
Gospel message, he would trod.

Does not want the truth to get out
To the people he’s deceived.
He’s afraid if truth be told that
Many people Christ believe.

So, he tries to block the message,
Many tricks are up his sleeves,
For he does not want the people
God’s redemption now receive.

So he lies and twists the story
Of our Savior’s gift of grace,
And he turns it into something
Not of God, but a disgrace.

For he twists and turns the gospel
Upside down and inside out,
So the truth of Jesus’ gospel
Many people come to doubt.

He convinces many people
Death to sin and obey God
Not the truth of our salvation
But in truth it is a fraud.

But we know he is a liar,
Truth of God he will not tell,
For he wants no one in heaven
But to join him now in hell.

But the gospel of salvation
Teaches we must die to sin
Obey God and His commandments
And now live our lives for Him.
