[QUOTE="bèlla, post: 76474788, member: 416395"] Faith is a hallmark of our family: mother, father and grandparents. They’re all Christians. We’re multigenerational believers. Our spiritual legacy is unbroken. That’s a lot of prayer going up. My daughter is an adult and my work is done. I’m putting things in place for her future children. So she’ll have what she needs to rear them well. The foundation is there. Our ethos is la famille est tout. Family is all. Support is a fact of life in our family. It goes beyond immediate relations. The unit matters. We want the links to be strong. I’m purchasing a homestead overseas. The land will provide housing, food, and community for all of us. It will be kept in the family and maintained through private resources. I’m establishing a practice of entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency. So they aren’t dependent on others for their sustenance and have their earnings restrained. There’s a framework for education. Homeschooling in primary and elementary years and boarding in high school. They’ll learn self-sufficiency too. Each generation builds upon the other. That’s my heritage.
