Spiders Under My Thumb Fingernail

I dreamt that I was examining my thumb and when I looked I saw 4 small spiders or bugs and then I saw a larger brown spider, with a pattern on it's back.


* I was in my room one day and I heard as if someone hit a triangle two times and then I felt a pain in my thumb, I don't know if it's related.

i've had lots of spider dreams where i'm trying to kill them and need to. I think for me they represent fear. Not sure what spiders mean to you but when you wrote the title (this is just me) but i thought you wrote you had spiders under your thumb which means you have control over them if someone or something is under your thumb. but they are trying to get into your fingernail? hmmm

At first I didn't see the big and small spiders, I had to look carefully, they were hiding under my thumb nail. I also remember in my dream I was going to get the small ones examined to see what they were. I have heard too that spiders represent fear or control, I don't know though if that is what they represent in the dream. I have tried to find out exactly what type of spider I saw in the dream.

I think of spiders as owning a territory that other people think they own. They hang out in a different plane, and only frighten people when seen.

Even though they are too small to have good brains, they appear to be smart -- weaving incredible webs, navigating large spaces easily, and trapping creatures larger than themselves. They are so small they are almost invisible, but some can kill a large human with a nip.

Some of the ones with patterns are poisonous, and we use their markings to tell what the risk level is. An identifier. Browns can be poisonous too. Brown in dreams seems more trustworthy or manageable though.

Opposable thumbs -- the digit we need for the other ones to work better.

The nail is a protective shell that helps us open jars, create creases in banana peels, pick our teeth, pull out slivers, scratch a mosquito bite, dislodge dandruff.

Being trapped under the nail seems like intruders were placed right within yourself for incubation, in a place that even you couldn't get to. A "no fair" situation! You would have to hurt yourself to get them out.

Oh- or were they under the cliff -- hiding under the overhang ledge of your nail?

I think the patterns were 2 triangles facing the opposite tip, like on a black widow spider, I read about brown widow spiders, I looked but I haven't seen a spider exactly like this, it was big, adult spider.

The spider was hiding deep down at the bottom of my fingernail.

I think the spider is a demon, I dreamt previously that a half female, half spider was trying to get in my home.

The above is not what my dreams mean. The spider in my dream is a female demonic spirit, which God has warned me about more than once, this demon is extremely aggressive.

Why would God warn you about a demon and not remove it?

Jesus Christ does not take away every bad situation that comes up in my life. I have to fight with the weapons that God has given me, the word of God, prayer, fasting, anointing my home. When a demon attacks me I use the word of God as a sword, I speak scriptures rebuking the demonic spirit. I pray because when I pray God is able to fight on my behalf, I fast because I know that fasting will help to deal with the demons bothering me. I anoint my home to protect myself from demons wanting to come in my home and attack me severely.

Would you like to tell me about your demon. When did this start happenning?

This is something that I have to take care of on my own with God, I don't have all the answers, little by little God is helping me to deal with this situation.

I hope you can get some counseling along with all of the good things you are already doing. We aren't meant to go it alone. He made us to need each other. Remember the scripture about the "parts" of the church and how we need each other to function, and how we are all knitted together as "one". You need backup.

Did you look up brown recluse? Hobos are also brown.
There might be an odd combination of reality and dream symbolism, so the type might not matter. Unless it was a logo you needed to recognize.

Also look up NewZealand Katipo spider.

The spider in my dream is a female demonic spirit, which God has warned me about more than once

Today I was going through some cult articles, and one pointed out that the most harsh leaders in a certain cult were all women. While I am not a proponent of squelching females in ministry, or naming everyone a Jezebel, I think there is something worth looking at here for this situation -- the high contrast potential women have for nurturing and scorn...guilting people into action. Maybe it's the same for men. Seeming to be more accessible and kind at the outset.
