In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A hydraulic ground issue caused a 24-hour delay to bring Barry "Butch" Wilmore and Suni Williams home​


Elon Musk and SpaceX are looking to bring Barry "Butch" Wilmore and Suni Williams, the pair of U.S. astronauts that have been in space much longer than NASA originally planned, back to Earth soon. Unfortunately, due to a hydraulic ground issue, the launch was scrubbed approximately 30 minutes before lift-off.

NASA and SpaceX will get their next opportunity to send the rocket into space when the launch window opens no earlier than 7:03 p.m. EDT on Friday.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth shared a message of support for NASA's SpaceX Crew-10 ahead of their launch on Wednesday, highlighting the U.S. military's prominent role in the mission.

"I just want to take a brief moment to say we are praying for you," Hegseth said in a video posted to X. "We wish you Godspeed, and we look forward to welcoming you all home soon."
