Breakthrough ministries with Rod parsley is have a Miracle, healing and victory service Dec 4th 2006

i got my prayer cloth today and i am beleving for totally healing of my finances. Jesse Duplantis and others will be there as well, and they will be praying over the cloths.

I am at the bottom of the barrel for money but God owns the barrels and the money and i know He will fill it up and over flow it. We have been paying tithes for about a year now.... something we didnt do before.

because of the tithes God has always took care of us. Our faith has grown by leaps and bounds in this year. We didnt trust God fully to pay tithes over a year ago. We were pinching every penny and in misery. Now we may not have a lot of money, but our worries are gone, fear is gone, we have learned trust, faith, hope and learned more about love then before. Knowledge and wisdom flow.

This year we gave what we owed to God wheather anyone else got paid or not.... and he has seen us thru. Bills then got paid.

We are beleving for more than enough now. We are stepping out in faith. We have to. We are in such a pinch for money right now.... over ayear ago i would be going crazy.....For some reason right now the bills are not getting paid. Well i know the reason... my husband is out of work and cant even look for a job till after he has eye surgery and is better from it..... but the loss of the job he had really hurt us and i didnt understand the reason for the loss, execpt for maybe that Lord wants us to be a testamony of stepping out in faith.

today i sent in a seed ( ive been sending out alot of seed latley) for a supernatural blessing.

i have my own stories how God has blessed us when we didnt expect it to get by on for bills..... does anyone have an uplifting story of a great blessing God gave them for tithes and offerings?

I think you should get the book "Beyond Tithes and Offerings" it is a very enlightening book dealing with tithing and what is taught today.

If you are a joint-heir with Christ and own all things do you really think that 10% is really impressing Him? You are under a new covenant with a superior priesthood and better promises.

Jesus paid the tihte for you. You are free from it.

Final thought: II Cor 8:9 states that Jesus became poor so that you through His poverty might be rich. Jesus bore your poverty.

So, if Jesus bore your poverty, sins and sicknesses, then how do we receive the blessings?

Let's see:

By Grace are we saved through FAITH
We receive our healing by grace through FAITH...
But we prosper by our works--our "sowing" and "reaping" and our "tithing"??

No...a thousand times NO!! We prosper by faith in His bearing our poverty. You will either receive by works or by grace through faith but NOT through a combination of the two. And since law keeping brings a curse because there's a curse on it, I would suggest resting in Christ's finished work and dumping the legalistic tithing.

Give but give because you are already blessed NOT trying to get that way!!

Did Abraham operate under the Law? Or did the Law as Paul said, come later due to Transgression?

Abraham did not operate under the law, and yet he tithed. Tithing, therefore, was not because of the law, it was simply a principle of God.

The first 10% is his.

Blessings, grace and peace from God and from our Lord Jesus Christ!

The Priesthood of our Lord Jesus Christ, although like that of Melchizedek because it is of eternal life, righteousness and peace, has perfection from the glory of grace wherein are better promises and from the kingdom of God to offer.

Was Abraham blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in heaven in Christ Jesus? Pause and think before you answer, please.
A. Tithing is according to how you are blessed... and your gains are limited to what has been written, even as Abraham was limited in the tithe (tenth) he offered. He had much to glory, even from his righteousness through tithe, but not before God. And we see that not tithing, but believing (a work of God according John 6:29) imputed the righteousness of the faith of God unto Abraham. Are we not the children of Abraham by faith, of which righteousness is by believing and not of tithing? Yes, we are!
B. Brethren in the early Church gave ALL things and they did not lack anything, because they received ALL things in Christ Jesus. And they glorified God.
Choose which one of the two you want.

Let us be careful how we teach tithing or no tithing... having in mind that there are some with weak consciences. Let no man cause another to sin!

we are actually speaking about three different things here; giving, tithing, and sowing.
Giving freely to others (commonly called charity) is something that Jesus encouraged us to do in His name, and He said that He would bless us for doing so.

Tithing and sowing are like apple and orange trees--while they both require the use of our resources, each yields something different.
Tithing is giving part of what you have been given back to God in thankfulness, and because it is pleasing to Him. If a person is tithing in order to get back something from God, then that is not true giving, and is the wrong motivation.

Sowing is an investment, and comes under the theory of reciprocity--you will reap a harvest of what you sow.
if i put corn seed into the ground i expect to get back stalks of corn, not trees or oranges. If i sow my time and effort thru study at school, i expect to remember well enough to pass a test. If i sow my efforts thru exercize, i expect to get my muscles into better shape.
If i sow money into a business, I expect to reap a profit some day. Sowing does not only apply to just money but to everything that we put our hands to and to which we invest our time and efforts.

Of the three, sowing is the only one that requires further effort beyond the initial investment on our part to ensure the harvest. So to answer a question, no a person cannot 'sow money into a ministry' unless they are going to be directly involved in the day to day operation of it to ensure success. You can tithe to a ministry as unto God.

So of the three--giving, tithing, and sowing--only from sowing can you expect to receive back the same kind of thing you invested.
giving and tithing will be rewarded with God's blessings, provision, and approval.
