so Back in my Early Days of Highschool, prior to me Becoming a Christian... my Buddy Chris Refused to Listen to any Christian Music That Was Rock, Industrial, Alternative, etc... because it Sounded "like the world". if i Remember Correctly, he Even Went so Far in Saying That Theres Only a Few instruments Worth Playing For God, those of Which Are in The Bible

im not Sayin Theres Anything Wrong with This... i Understand all Walks With Christ Are Different; but is there Anyone Else out There Who Holds The Same Opinion? tell me Why, because i Dont Understand it... or is Such an Opinion Harmful in Any Way? hmm. Just Curious

a lot of people and churches have widely differing opinions on this. Some churches do not allow instruments to be played during the service, some, only acoustic intruments are ok, and so on.

The praise and worhip band I am in has been working on a version of "Jesus Is Just Alright By Me" by the Doobie Brothers. We plan to do it as a special some time.

Our pastor occassionally tells how he threw away all his secular albums after he became saved. I still have all mine. We have discussed it, and are agreed that if God wants me to do the same, He will let me know. It could happen, but not yet. although there are some songs I no longer listen to.
