I know this is not the place to state it, but as I lack any better way I want to apologize for some of the criticism I have stated about the calvinist doctrine.

I have often fell in the error of considering calvinism nothing but a license to sin or that calvinists are not worried about living a God pleasing life.

How wrong I was I was but repeating what I had been told, but now after reading Augustine and partially Calvin's Institutions I am aware Calvin struggle was for us to be humble under God.

More and more I am convicted of the free nature of faith and the worthless of our works as merits for salvation. I'm not calvinist (at least yet ) but now I'm learning

I have no context of the things you are apologizing for, but that doesn't matter to me. Many people here, myself included, lashed out when this doctrine was presented to them. Glass Houses and all that. I consider you forgiven and the slate is clean. In fact, it's like I can't even remember what you said before...

As Coffeeswirls mentioned, you aren't the first(nor last) to react negatively upon first hearing of Calvinism and what we believe......

I'm just glad you are realizing what Calvinism is REALLY about!
