CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

without music, life would be a mistake
i have been insanely tired also! dozing in the middle of the day after a full night's sleep. it seems like whenever i get around 18 weeks pregnant, i get a crazy surge of energy. hopefully that happens again!

I also feel as if I've been hit with a sleepy stick...!
I slept about 9 hours, and I remember my DH coming in the livingroom to check on me (He has a cold so I let him have the bed) and tell me he was leaving like he always does, and said somethign about taking the last pear, to which I asked him to take the orange or banana, I hadn't gotten to have one yet. LOL
Then I asked him to rub my back a little so I could sleep back in, and I was out!
I have been dozing off and on watching cartoons, and then decided to drink some juice and eat the pear I begged for (hehe) and I decided somewhere along the way I wanted a handful of M&Ms... so I ate those, and feel like that was a bad choice.
I probably should have just gotten a carrot or something.
But I feel like if I sat still long enough, I'd zonk right back out. I hope this doesn't last long... I have to start classes in two weeks!

What amazes me is during the day I am so tired I have to fight to keep my eyes open. But when we get into bed at night I lay there not able to get to sleep. Then I get up and down through out the night. I am starting to get alittle better, I think because we have had so much going on this last week but I get so frustrated.

That's what I've been doing...
I couldn't sleep the other night and was up until 5am yesterday... and I was tired, but I wasn't sleepy. I slept and woke after 12 and was up until after midnight. Today, I've been... I dunno, but it was so grey outside I felt just icky and tired the entire time... I've spent the entire day (except trips for food and the potty) on the couch under a blanket.

this is the 3rd day in a row I've drifted off on davids bed during maya's nap, its my little power nap session..... I don't feel any less tired afterward though

Awww, cmon over to my place and you can sleep all day and all night no worries. We both work during the day so you can have my spare queen sized bed, or my king sized master bed all to yourself.

It's like this comsuming wave that hits you and there's nothing you can do about it! It was so hard for me working a desk job during both of my pregnancies because I was so inactive when those waves hit! I had to get up and walk laps around the office or my coworkers would have been shocked to hear snoring from my cube!!

I can hardly function right now and now the nausea's set in and I'm eating alllllllll day long..... the first trimester stinks, its especially hard when you haven't told people offline and you just look fat and crabby .... at least I can vent here

oh my goodness can this be the I'm whining thread, I think my iron is fine but its rough because I'm so tired all day long and the house is messy and I was just starting to feel good about how the house was looking all the time and my cooking and I feel sick unless I eat all the time but I'm too tired to cook.... I can't wait for the 2nd trimester

I know what you mean. I have been really icky the last few weeks, and for two days I have been stuffy and my sinuses were draining Which means I felt realllllllly sick.Today was the first I was able to really eat anything more than rice or cereal.. which is great.. I did things in little spurts.. a load of laundry here, rest. toss it in the dryer and throw in another one, and rest. LOL
I've spent most of the last week on the couch or in bed just feeling lousy. I hope I make it through this one. I start classes Thursday and I am kind of scared of what will happen if I am really feeling ill. I don't know what meds I can and can't take here yet, as my next dr visit is next week...so he said to bring all my questions then..
I've had some headaches too. those are really not fun. I just wait them out and they go away, thankfully. Usually I have to take a muscle relaxer.
the one thing that has been getting on my nerves, EVERYTHING pops. Back, hips, knees. . . I don't think my DH gets it yet.. I know it's natural, but oww! LOL
