CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

its a three day Christian music and arts festival near Brisbane with lots of International bands appearing like Third Day and Audio Adrenaline

Well ive never heard of any of these ,probally coz i have my head burried in Jesus i forget to look around once in awhile,
But in Adelaide we do have something familiar ,one is Womma Adelaide(Dont ask me what it is ive never been) and i forget the others.

No i stay away from places like that they are heading the wrong way ,just take a look at the Austrailian Idol ,Guy Sabastion ( forgive my spelling if i have it wrong)is from their and they support him.Each to there own!!
Infact my wife pointed the building out to me the other day its huge and beutifull building's
My place of worship has 10 or 15 members who desire God only .and we use a commiunity service centre we use one of the rooms

Sounds like a lovely little church you go to Matt. That's how I like it. Nothing pretentious, nothing grand. Just the company and love of those you find comfort and joy with.
