I read all about everybody's news and sometimes I get down because my life isn't that exciting- but then I sometimes get so excited and thankful about the very little things in life. For instance I just learned how to use the t9 predictive text feature on my phone. I know it seems silly, but I've had this cellphone for a couple of years now and even though it isnt very fancy it has served me well and I am thankful for it. Plus now I can join the ranks of all of my other text messaging friends.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Happy birthday. See also sometimes posting helps others and you don't even know it. Sometimes it makes others happy to see someone else happy. You ever around a negitive person and feel really happy, I know I don't, I get that at work, so what do I do. I come in here where it's positive, changes the mood all the time.
