A question was posed Saturday in a class I attend and we had some discussion about it and thought it would be fun to see other's opinions.

What would the implications be if every Christian in the world stopped believing in Jesus Christ?

As far as America is concerned, it is a horrible horrible thought to envision Secular Humanism completely taking over the supply based media culture, let alone every other aspect of our society.

Our world is screwed up enough as it is with the conservative christians attempting to buffer things. If Christianity stopped, one of two things would happen: One, a new religion would rise to fill the void of the conservative right. Two, there would no longer be any pretense for which to base moral judgement and our culture would have to rely solely on Law to govern its actions. This results in a downward spiral of decadence as people no longer encourage each other to fight baser desires and exploitive behavior.

What is to stop the media from advertising hedonism because it is more profitable?

Simple my friend as the media is very liberal as well as doesn't want to have anything to do with even the word of "God". They think of God in many other ways and not for the one, the only, and the most important reason. That they think that the only way to get to heaven is being good and doing good things. When that is really wrong.

Being it's a hypothetical question, I'll say that since salt was used as a preservative in those days, Jesus' likening of us to salt seems to suggest that if Christians stopped believing in Him, the world would spoil like rotten meat.

But I know one Christian who will never stop believing.

Well as hard as we as Christians fight the media it seems to not have made one iota of difference. Things are getting worse and worse and we are fighting a losing battle.

But I know one Christian who will never stop believing.

Is it our belief in Jesus Christ as the Savior that keeps the world from spoiling? Or is it already spoiled enough that our presence just merely a stopgap?

Only if you will accept Christ as Savior & Lord you will be in heaven with Him but if you don't then you all know what happens to non-believers.
