  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Just curious, what is the reason why someone would willingfully persue evil? I bet Proverbs 11:19 is intended for us to aknowledge that persuing evil can be a choice but most those who persue evil are doing so because they are not committed to serving Jesus.

Scripture tells us that God makes the wicked for the day of Evil.....

How does one willingly persue Evil ?...continue to Preach the Doctrine of Eternal Torment....after reading the whole word of God...especially 1 Timothy 2 0r 4...
howcome almost every post I have seen you make involves this doctrine of eternal torment? you seem obsessed with it

The Doctrine of Eternal Torment I have noticed is the obsession of Main Stream Christianity......to the point where I show what a lie that doctrine is, at every opportunity.

You can watch TV Fiction shows, that depict a Hell of Eternal Torment...there are sayings like...go to hell.

This depiction of Hell is sown into the very Fabric of Society....and it is a lie.

Main Stream Christianity believes in the Doctrine of Eternal Torment.....

IT IS A LIE......

Fair enough. However I have seen you post stuff about Eternal Torment in threads related to evolution or global warming. Even this thread seems to have nothing to do with Hell as popularized by the media.

I would say it possibly isnt Christian let alone mainstream if that doctrine is seen as a lie, certainly eternal. The truth is that at least in Matthew 25 we are looking not just at aionios but at aionios life and aionios death. Death is th opposite of life, both Genesis and Revelation refer to life and death.
If one is dead one is dead, the point about what Jesus says in John 3 and quoting Numbers 21 is whoever believes shall not perish but have aionios life, the perish isnt with aionios but the life is. So just as we live for tens of years and we have either death or life eternal at the end.
