Hi all! While at adoration on Monday, I got really inspired to write something. I tend to be a little hard on myself, it took my youth minister to tell me he thought it was good to get me to like it myself. I never edited it except while during adoration to fix some of the grammer... Sooo...here it is:
Thank You oh my Lord
For bringing me this day
To this holy place
That I may see Your holy face.
I lift up those in most need of prayer.
Those sitting around me,
May they draw nearer to you,
Including me.
Thank You oh my Lord,
For the forgiveness of my sins.
There is nothing else
I could have asked for.
As we adore you in this holy place,
All we ask for is your abundant grace,
and that the Spirit may fill us,
And make us a whole.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You oh Jesus our Lord!
Praised be Your holy name!
For there is no one else that we would rather adore,
Than You, healer of our wounded souls.
I think I entitled it "We Thank You", but I don't remember...I might change the title...
