• Welcome to Christian Forums
  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
  7. There has been an addition to the announcement regarding unacceptable nick names. The phrase "Let's go Brandon" actually stands for a profanity and will be seen as a violation of the profanity rule in the future.

something i learned about intercession!

ok. one of my fave verses ever!

    2 chronicles 7.14
"if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will hear from heavon, and forgive their sins, and heal their land."

how many people agree our land needs to be healed?
    and he'll heal it.
    if "his people"
    it starts with the church.
anyway, i could preach on that all night but i wont. haha

well, id like to look at that word
    if my people..."pray"....

that word in the hebrew is "PALAL"
it means to "JUGDE" by means of
    enterccession, supplication, prayer.

and it threw me for a loop.
    to judge?

and i realised something! JUDGES EXECUTE A JUDGEMENT UPON A SITUATION.
    they say,
    this will be this way"
    this will happen.
    this will not happen.

they use the authority of the governement to enforce the law.
    they execute judgement.

and we are to do this in intercesion!
    we are judges!
we are to tell the devil
we are to pray to god and distribute gods power in the earth.

we are the judges, we are the ones who are supposed to be ruling this world by the authority of jesus, and in the will of jesus.

he said hed heal our land,
but first he needs us to pray, or judge, or enforce or distribute that in prayer!

it goes to show the responsibility of an interccessor. just how important they are.
he wanted to heal their land, but he needed interccesors first!

he said we are the salt of the earth, and if we dont salt it, then it must be thrown out!
he said if we do not remit sin, then sin is not remitted!
he said "WE" have been given the keys to the kingdom!
he said "WE" are the body or manifestation of christ on earth!

    my god, were judges.
    its all up the judges.
ill be more careful next time i pray. and ill take advantage of my power in christ!
lets execute judgment on the devil!

    since dueteronomy ch.30.
he has given man the ability to determine his own destiny.
and we who are enlightened are responsible for the well being of those who are not.
dont trash brittney spears or bin laden, do something, help them, pray for them, they are only satans blind puppets. they cant help it if they dont know.
jesus and stephen both forgave their killers saying
"forgive them, they know not what they do"

in romans it says that the devil has blinded them 'so they cannot see the light".
we must stand and judge that and command him to loose them! and ask god to remove that blindness, and send the light.
    we must loose those people.
We teamed up with Faith Counseling. Can they help you today?

    Christsoldier So, I'm an apologetic!

Very interesting and so true. Sometimes we get so busy "judging" people, we forget that we're supposed to love them.

Check out Hosea 14: 1-7 for more on God's healing of a wayward nation.

My nation needs healing big time :(

But the good news is that christians here are starting to pray in our land and I just hope that people here who are predominantly roman catholic will realize and repent that Jesus is the ONLY way to salvation.

America needs to get back to where we once were. When we started, we were a country looking to worship God in our own ways. Now look what's happened. We are losing our morality. We have been spoiled so much that we forgot our first love. God.

Has anyone ever read "Ten Lies About God" by Erwin W. Lutzer?

It's amazing how people have taken God and turned Him into something they could worship!!! And, that is what is happening in America. Sadly.

So, true. We must judge righteously. Meaning, do not judge those things not sins, and when we do see sin, judge with the love and mercy we ourselves have grown to expect from God.
Condemnation is God's, and if we condemn we are not judging out of humility; knowing we too have sinned.

    Isa 5:20-21
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

Does this sound like today, or what? These people have a "woe" comming to them. Like Psalm 22.3 says we need to pray for these folks. I've seen witches come to God. I've seen cultists come to God. I've seen atheists come to God. We have to salt them, shine light on them, reason with them, and pray, pray, pray for them.

Thank you Psalms 22.3 that was so insiteful, and I thank the Lord for giving it to you and you for sharing with others. How important our care and our prayer are for others and to others will not be truly revealed until we see HIM and he tells us "well done , my faithful servant". Remember we are servants as well as judges. God gave Israel Judges and they demanded Kings and look what happened then. Won't be set right till the King of Kings comes. Even so Come quickly, Lord Jesus!~!!!!! :D

you people arent thinking im telling people to judge as in "judge not lest you be judged" are you?

oh no. but rather, "ask anything in my fathers name and he will give it" like jesus said.
we have power, we have authority, we have the ability to say what goes and what does not.
    luke 10.19
we have POWER over all serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by anymeans hurt you.
    but that word power is
EXUOSIA (i think i may have spelled it wrong)
meaning= delegated authority. as a judge has in the courts of law. im simply saying, its up to us to stand and tell the devil to stop, and to petition god to move in the earth. (jesus told us to pray that gods will would be done, why if it would happen on its on? it wont, we must pray for it)

even in revelations, the angels overcome the dragon by THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, AND THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY.
only humans receive the blood, and angels dont have testimony, it is the prayers and faith of the saints that will bring gods plan to pass in the earth. (though i know that attacks alot of common theology, im not saying you have to beleive me, but i do believe this)

we have the keys to the kingdom. we can open doors, we can shut doors.

im not talking about judging people like jesus said not too. being critical, ya know?
