I didn't think I'd be able to find this and it turns out to go on longer than I remembered. It is the longest introduction to a song I can remember. It is the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band doing stand up comedy. Here it is along with the song it introduce on their Stars and Stripes forever album. While some of it is pure 50s more than a few parts are unchanged today.
