Hello everyone I am quite new and I was wondering if someone can please respond to my other forum on my page about my ocd please please no one has responded and need some help. Thank you God bless you
Hello VIM, I haven’t noticed no one responds, there have been several fine, astounding responses wrought in the leading of the Holy Spirit. We shouldn’t even attempt to diminish that possibility!!! We should celebrate the fact on how much He loves us.
I noticed you are requesting further help, the HS can do that too. I have come to believe, and you being a Pentecostal may disagree, but we don’t have to get a super blessed feeling to benefit from that help. I feel, we don’t have to feel anything at all. For you yourself know, ,
“For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15)
But some will say, “This is the wrong course to navigate, it is wholly fraught with adversity”. When in actuality it is exactly where we should be facing what things are presently against His will, causing more from our decision of determination – the easy/wide way, or the hard/narrow way? Either way, the door is now open and now is the time to direct that small instinct within you. You may not even know it’s there, but by His promise, it is. The Holy Spirit ever so gently gives us just enough determination to head for security, ,
“God is faithful, who will, , , provide the way of escape” (I Corinthians 10:13)
How far from we sometimes find ourselves from that “way” is inconsequential, the very best of Christians are not exempt from error in this spiritual conflict, ,
“We will know by this that we are of the truth, and will assure our heart before Him in whatever our heart condemns us; for God is greater than our heart and knows all things.” (I John 3:19, 20)
Of course this is where many are turned away, they don’t feel they have secured that “way”. They submit to a fantasized image of successful Christianity. The ultimate defeat for us all is to disown our own confidence.
“Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.” (Hebrews 10:35)
So hold up that spiritual head which hangs down complicated in forms of duress, ,
“Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.” (I Peter 5:8-10)
Help? Thank you, you have actually helped me today.
Mike.
