some faith concerns

i am concerned about doing what is right in my life. i started taking a class in wicca about a month ago, and although i have never actually done the spells i am starting to believe that wicca is the right way for me. i've had doubts about god and now i'm not sure who he/she is, so if i'm messing up and doing wrong please pray that i'll do better. i just doubt christianity a lot now. my outlook is a lot different and i'm in public school so my friends are all different - everything that i stood for is vanishing. so please pray that whatever i do it is right. i am considering being initated as a wiccan, not sure if it's right, but considering. so please pray and if you have advice about lost faith or changing religions email or pm me. thanks.

Wicca is an attractive religion because it promises peace and personal power, but when it really comes down to it, none of the Wiccans I know (my two aunts have practiced Wicca for years) are happy, peaceful or have any more power than everyone else in the world. In fact, my aunts are depressed, depressive and depressing.

Wicca presents itself as a religion of beauty and light, but after a while it really starts to grind on you that it is neither beautiful nor light.

Go ahead and try it if you have to, but don't be afraid to run straight back to God when it disappoints you.

I think just the fact that you asking if wicca is the right thing shows that you definitley have doubts about it being the right thing, which I think is the Holy Spirit working inside of you, convicting you. Just recently, there was a young lady on here who was wiccan and realised it wasn't all that it was cracked up to be and returned to God. She was so full of joy when she did so.

I will pray for you, harpy, that the Holy Spirit will lead you back to your loving Father. He does still love you and will forgive you at your asking. Spend some time seeking Him, and He will be found.

No wicca is not right, it is the powers of darkness. There is a LOT more power with God. You are allowing yourself to be seduced and drawn into confusion and bondage. God can set you free from that, His love can break though all of that deception and He can show you though His love, the truth.

The Battle belongs to the Lord and our safety is in Him.

We need more churchs that can demonstrate the power of God, so that less people are drawn off and deceived by the enemy of God. We have to many dead churchs out there, that do not have enough of the Power of the Holy Spirit of God in them, to make a real difference in peoples lives.

We need christians who are willing to pay the price in Holiness, Sanctification and Consecration. So we can be used by God, to serve Him in Power and in Truth. God is building His army, and the Bride will go forth and nothing will be able to stop her.

Song 2:4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.

Why eat scraps when the banquet table is set, and the invitation is open. Whosoever is willing, let them come and eat and be filled.

Rev. 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

The enemy is out to destroy people. But we are on the new and living way. Jesus came so that we could have everlasting life.

Growing up in a Christian home or in a Church does not make one a Christian. From your profile, I have no way of knowing why you say you are Christian. But I can tell you that being a Christian means having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. I can also tell you that wicca is evil, and has no more place in the life of a Christian than a photo of lucifer hanging on the wall.

This is what Jesus said about it:

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

What God said in Joshua:

Joshua 24:15: "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

Serving Jesus is eternal life. Serving mammon is eternal death. God gave us a clue which to choose:

Deuteronomy 30:19: "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"

My advice is don't stray away from God. If you doubt something then get with your pastor or someone who can answer your questions. I pray that you draw closer to God and then you will expierence peace, and happiness. Dig your feet in and stand strong for your faith in Jesus Christ. If I can help you let me know.

I doubt you would request others to pray to God if you didn't believe in Him. Are you sure you're not just confusing what you know in your heart to be true, with feeling as if God is not there because you know you've strayed away from Him? He rejoices when His sheep return to Him. He is always there and is always willing to forgive us.

I will be praying that God will open your heart, and eyes to Him and Him only. You already know that wicca is wrong, turn from it, and back to God. If you truly want to do what's right, then that's all it will take, let Jesus show you the way. You will never be sorry you did.
