  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Jon, obviously you aren't disappointing ME little brother. You couldn't even if you voted against the split.

I'm glad that you can see what is happening in that thread and it really just brings a lot of things more into focus (at least IMHO).

While I'm glad to know where Moriah is coming from a little more, I am still shocked that she could call satan her lover and not one Progressive spoke out against it.

The whole thread is going to get locked and deleted, I'm positive of that, even though I didn't report it myself.

I agree with OlikaMay that it was meant to make us look intolerant so they could blame us for her departure. Did we MAKE her say those things though? Of course we didn't.

I lost a lot of respect for a lot of people on here in that thread. People that I really did have respect for before.

I mostly lost respect for the people that didn't say ANYTHING.

And I am extremely disappointed with Nighteternal. I thought up until now he was a man of integrity, regardless of his brash attitude. Moriah did not commit the greatest sin in that thread.


He who is for God, stand for God. He who is for Baal stand for Baal. Woob is right, what would Elijah say if he was visiting this forum? Seeing the amount of devilish images posted, not just words? It is disgusting.

Hallelujah! You should do a FAQ/sticky on the state of the dead after the dust settles down. We should do this for all our unique doctrines.

The immortality of the soul and the disregard of God holy sabbath are the two identifying characteristics of a false religion. Examine each and every denomination, what do we have left?

Night mentioned that people should be flocking to our church in droves, and I still contend that the reason they don't is because of our message about the state of the dead. People WANT to believe in the fairytale.

I read so many stories that the evangelists came to town and converted and baptised hundreds in a campaign. The new converts happily joined their new church. But a year or so later, where are they?

Calling God's people out of Babylon. But where would they go? The church is not ready to receive them.

There is an interesting fact on this...

China historically had no weekly system in their lunar calendar. After the catholic missionary went there in the 16th century, the Chinese Emperor commissioned the Jesuits to reform the chinese calendar because of the jesuits' mastery in astronomy and astrology.

After the chinese lunar calendar was reformed by the Jesuits, the weekly system was added into each month.

Guess what each day of week is called now (to this day)???

Monday is called the first day of the week, Tuesday 2nd...Saturday the sixth day of the week. Guess what Sunday is called??? The Day of Worship!

I couldn't find the post where Moriah said the CUC president taught her the art of demon possession. CF search function is a joke! I also have a video recording of Willian Loveless (CUC pres.) training the new pastors with such craft.

I wouldn't have posted it if I didn't think you can handle it. The truth shall set you free. If you look at every denomination, the majority of the members are lukewarm while a minority is sincere. How do we distinguish them? By their doctrines. When the persecution begins, the church buildings will be closed down, the majority of the members will become sundaykeepers. The faithful remnants will be scattered. So adventism is not so much a denomination but a movement. My faith is in our unique endtime message, not what mortal men may do.

About going to CUC, if that's what you want to do, go for it. Just be prepared for the potential problems. If you're consecrated, God will lead and protect you against the temptations.

The thread is titled, "Where is Jesus Now?" or something along those lines ... I can dig it up if need be. But I am not sure i posted the whole story there. my consciousness is fragmented, in shards, i can say something and then the next moment forget what i am speaking about.... you must understand ... this is not an "affect" but a reality i live with moment to moment, that and .... and ..... ........ .....................
