  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If you put it under, the paper either sticks to the wall and the next person has to mercilessly scratch his fingernails all up trying to get at it, or it disappears onto the roll and the next person has to mercilessly search for the square to wipe his bum. Therefore, it is over.

And I prefer it the "wrong" way. But hey....not a battle I want to pick, otherwise the divorce papers would say "irreconcilable differences over whether the TP should be over or under...." LOL. Now, leaving the cap off the toothpaste or the soap in a puddle of water, THAT would be reason to pick a fight... lol....(not!)

Definitely out. The OP link is the right way. Thanks be to God...my wife and I agree on this. That was an early discussion while dating!

I unravel with the roll itself rather than pulling on the loose piece(s). Just makes more sense to not fight gravity and let it work for you instead.
