I pressed reply, and so i quote you automatically.@Albion - I'm not entirely sure. If I knew how to program the quotes I'd do that.
I agree that it seems as though this system should work better, especially with that very ordinary procedure.@Albion - I'm not entirely sure. If I knew how to program the quotes I'd do that.
oh nice, multiquote doesn't work for me, but reply works. I'll use that. thanks.I pressed reply, and so i quote you automatically.
I'm pretty sure it's related to my browser settings. At least reply works.
If I'm not mistaken, you quote the entire post that way, but if the intention is to rearrange things or take something from a different post to incorporate into the reply, it's still necessary to type in quote and /quote with brackets, right?I pressed reply, and so i quote you automatically.
Yes we do need the Holy Spirit with His promptings and leading. Like the Law says: do not murder... But the Holy Spirit says "love your neighbor." So in reference to what your saying, no we don't have to open God's word for our every decision...we have the mind of Christ and should take every thought captive to thereof. But still, His word is His word in Truth with the essence of His being that we know what we know that He wants us to know.@davidcrosby @Albion @W2L - I really like discussing scripture obviously, I have issues about how it is applied. So when I come out and say ... sola scriptura is not necessary ... probably relates to the Sola part, there are many ways God speaks to us. But in focusing solely on scripture as a means to hear from God, the natural sense of compassion becomes lost. There needs to be balance.
You can select and delete or backspace what you want to delete, the brackets are already there. If I'm not mistaken, you quote the entire post that way, but if the intention is to quote less than that, or take something from a different post to incorporate into the reply, it's still necessary to type in quote and /quote with brackets, right?

Not using "reply" makes it hard to go back and see what post is being quoted. Tagging still shows up in notifications though

Yeah, I hit the +Quote it turns to -Quote, but does not add to multiquote. Reply works fine and that's all I need. I appreciate the help. You can select and delete or backspace what you want to delete, the brackets are already there.
If you want to quote multiple posts, you '+ Quote' the messages you want to quote and then you press 'Insert quote' bottom left in your message cadre, then you get a pop up asking you to insert them, click 'quote these messages'.
yeah the button disappeared. It's no biggie.Look for the button that says "insert quotes", it will be at the far left side of the "post reply" button
Yeh, maybe I just didn't perform the sequence correctly. I'll give it some practice and see. Meanwhile, thanks for your replies. They at least confirm to me that it should work for me that way.You can select and delete or backspace what you want to delete, the brackets are already there.

In my defense, nobody seems to know what it means. Or, at least, nobody seems to agree on what it means. The word can mean almost anything considering the number of different definitions I've heard.Once again, we are faced with a poster denouncing Sola Scriptura but not knowing what the term means.
So like with the oxford english dictionary, the applied definition is what that matters. In my defense, nobody seems to know what it means. Or, at least, nobody seems to agree on what it means. The word can mean almost anything considering the number of different definitions I've heard.
