A few of my posts have been 'soft deleted' for staff review. Now I know this site doesn't have a Constitution or even a Bill of Rights that the accused can fall back on. And trust me--the appeals process is isn't what it should be either. But isn't deleting someones post BEFORE it has been deemed worthy of such an action a violation of INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY? Isn't the presumption of innocence even a BIBLICAL concept? Yes--I think so. So why isn't that principle being practiced in CF?
Not only that--but soft deleting takes away the RIGHT for the poster to have changed their minds and edit it for themselves.
Just for the record, this thread is NOT criticizing a mod action, but rather, I'm wanting clarification of the deleting rule.
