I am also Elle0315, but I rarely use her. She is my naughty sidekick and I used her when I was in mod training. She was so bad I had to ban her, but fortunately, she had connections and got reinstated.

Sock accounts are used for a variety of reasons. You can infiltrate certain forums that you would normally not be allowed in. You can get around a ban if you have a different IP address, (more than one computer). You can vote in polls or make it seem as more people agree with you. Mods often have sock accounts so that people will not automatically agree/disagree with them, or be afraid to say something, etc.

I have a sock account, but not for any of these reasons. I have created it just for fun, because there was a thread about sock accounts in OBOB, it was hilarious, so lots of people created a sock then. It's not a secret who my sock is, and at the moment my two accounts have the same poem in their signature, my sock has the first half and my normal account (this one) has the second half - the poem is a tribute to my sweet cat Okki who died very suddenly 3 weeks ago, and I'm heartbroken.


Pogue, Sinterklaasje is one of my favourite socks, ever. Too bad I can't see characters anymore in the new CF, as Sinterklaasje's character was awesome.

I am so sorry about your kitty. We have a precious baby too. He is so spoiled that he will not eat unless his food has sprinkles on top. (Wet food with sprinkles of dry food on top)

Thank you Lisa. I miss my kitty very much. I miss giving her canned tuna - she loved it so much, she had a special meow when she heard me open a can in the kitchen; she could hear it in the attic and then was behind me within 3 seconds.

Isn't it amazing how they learn to talk? Our kitty says, "Out" and "Eat". I know it is too early yet, but another kitten soon, okay? It will ease your heartache some, I think.

Yes, we will get a new kitten in about 4 weeks. We have already picked her out at the foster family of the animal shelter. I think it will make my grief easier to handle, because I'm way too sad right now, and Okki's surviving twin sister Ada is not doing well at all (depressed and heavy bladder infection) - I think she might benefit from not being the only cat, as she's not used to being alone.

The new kitten is born on April 4, the same day as Okki and Ada (only 5 years later), which I think is beautiful. When she's about 10 weeks old she will come home with us. She can never replace Okki, but I need to use the love I have in my heart for a living creature.

Oh, good. It will help so much. If it helps, I truly believe that our pets will be in Heaven. The reason I believe this is because Heaven is going to be everything that will make us happy, and our pets make us happy. I do not care how theologically sound that is. It is what I believe.

Well, we know that animals will be in Heaven, or at least in the New Earth because prophecy says that the curse will be lifted and the lion will lie down with the lamb.

I have many beloved pets that I hope to see in Heaven.
