Soapies Anyone?

I enjoy watching Days once or twice a week, but am getting sick of every one at church bagging me for it. Especially when one pastor got up and preached a sermon on how sinful soapies were, then after the service his 12 and 14 year old daughters were telling everyone how daddy had taken them to see Starship Troopers 6 times!!! I think compared to many movies out there full of swearing and nudity the soapies are quite harmless diversions to real life.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

People can be judgmental and hypocritical, huh? I've watched Days since I was 11 and it hasn't effected me.

I haven't seen the show, but they're promoting this "Desperate Housewives" to be the next "Dynasty". I had seen the previews but didn't know until I read this that it was a serial show.

It beat the other two shows in its time slot, which nobody expected. America might be ready for another J.R. Ewing....who knows.
