New Season starts Thursday, 22nd of May!

I hope I can get my husband to watch this year. We've been watching the auditions, but once the show starts in earnest, he loses interest.

I am a late comer to this show. I watched pretty much the whole season this past weekend on MTV. They had a marathon. I am excited to watch now. It was fun and a lot more competitive and enjoyable than AI, IMO. I will be watching. The only problem is that Thursday is very hard in my house for TV. We watch Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy. Luckily, Scrubs and Earl are over for the season or there would not be a tuner available for SYTYCD.

I think Ugly Betty and GA are done this week for the season. I also noticed that next week the show is on Wed. and Thurs. for the auditions. One thing I like about the show is that except for Nigel and Mary, the 3rd judge is rotated.

I'm excited to watch So You Think You Can Dance, though. I had a lot of fun watching the reruns on MTV, so much so that I actually sat through that awful Walk of Shame commercial for that energy drink

Mary is the reason my husband won't watch. Honestly, I mute the TV every time she comes on too. Her stupid screaming might have been a fun schtick at first, but it is nothing but annoying at this point.

I've been watching this show since the beginning.

Thanks to this show, I have absolutely no interest in watching other dance shows like "Dancing with the Stars", who PALE in comparison when it comes to talent and technique.

I'm doing some business classes this year and it's taking a huge toll on the amount of time I have to enjoy my usual shows. I had to write off Big Brother and American Idol this year. I'm hoping that I can make some time for SYTYCD.

I know what you mean. She can be a good critic, but her outrageous scream is beyond trade-marking. Somebody needs to tell her to tone it down. I love Mia Michaels as a judge and choreographer. I love Donna Sanchez who does the disco routines and I forget the Spanish dude who does some of the hot ballroom stuff. He's cute! And I do like Shane, but he's a little too rappy, hip hoppy for me.

I know what you mean. I have yet to be able to watch a single season of DWTS. The celebrities rarely can hold a candle to the kids on this show in terms of quality. Plus the variety of dance styles, choreographers, and judges is much better.

i may watch,now that idol is gone. i don't watch much tv..i miss biggest loser!

the last time i watched this show i watched the auditions and laughed so hard i almost pee'd my pants. im sorry it was just unreal.

I'm a latecomer to this show too... I watched the end of season 3 & saw bits and pieces here and there.

DH is watching with me and Mary is driving him nuts. Apparently we are not big fans of the auditions. not nearly as good as AI.

Mary may be annoying, but I think the auditions to this show are better than AI. For one thing, there's music and movement. I was really entertained by last nights show and very moved by the blind girl. She was pretty good, but the judges were right about being able to follow choreographers. Also, the last guy was phenomenal! He was so creative and interesting. I could have watched him all night! Can't wait for next week...two nights, both Wednesday and Thursday.

We have last night's show TiVo'd but hubby hasn't committed to watching it yet. I'm going to work on him this weekend and hopefully won't be watching it by myself

well I agree Veritas, that last guy was CRAZY AWESOME! DH & I were enthralled! but there werent' that many that were that funny. If they were gonna do weeks of it like they do Idol, I probably wouldn't watch.

People who think they can dance and can't.
Or, people who think they can sing, and can't.

I think that soccer girl that Dominic was getting all googly-eyed over was over-rated. But something tells me we're gonna see her in the show. She looks.... marketable.

Was Nigel serious about the Golden Mask guy once being over 400lbs? I CANNOT believe that.

I so LOVE Brandon Bryant!!!!! I think he is beyond beautiful.

I haven't watched all of both shows yet, but I have to say, that boy with Down's Syndrome made me cry. I wish I were as brave as he is.

I'm glad the judges aren't as cruel as Simon on AI. They are honest with those who can't dance, but they don't belittle them.

I was glad to see the girl from season 2 who hurt her foot. I had wondered why she wasn't back last season.
