i just want to see how many people God has blessed here. it'd be pretty cool to know how God has owr brothers and sisters in Christ!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I thin it's safe to say that He has blessed us all, whether we realize/acknowledge it or not. 
Personally, I can't even enumerate the ways that He's blessed me. Some of the biggest (avoid the standard "giving me life/providing for my salvation", etc. ones at least) are the blessing of the partner and wife He led me to, and the church home that He blessed me to encounter, not to mention the softening of my heart to realize the two huge blessings that both of those are. I have only been a believer for about 3 years, so I come to appreciate and recognize my blessings more all the time.

I definately know I am blessed. Here are some of my blessings: my husband (he is such an amazing man), heaters in the car and apartment since 20 F was the high today, being able to go to classes and learn and meeting people there, food. And today was amazing in a human development class we were talking about death and dying and we had a speaker come whose son died when he was 12, her faith in God was evident and she talked about Him so much, I go to a public university so getting to hear people publicly talk about their faith and not trying to pound you in the head with a Bible is amazing. It was a really cool reminder that God is there and that people do need to hear about Him. God is amazing and definately is in the blessing department, amen!

I had a job interview today and a local hosptial. Everyone has told me horror stories about the hosptial and that they only start you out at 10$ an hour. I am a LPN and usually start out at around 1250. I as nervous and wasnt sure about it so I prayed that If it was God's will for me to get the job then let them pay me atleast 1250 an hour. The job is a 45 minute drive from my house so I would have to make atleast that to have any kind of profit. Well not only did they start me at 1450 an hour, I have full benefits, retirement and I got a 3000 dollar sign on bonus! Oh God is so great!

Wow. I'm so blessed, I don't even really know where to start:
-I broke the stereotype of black female teenagers having at least one child by the age of 19
-I was able to finish high school without having to work or dropout for any reason
-My siblings, my cousins, and I are the first generation of college attenders in my family.
-I have a job
-I have a car
-I have my health
-I have a sound mind
-I'm less than two years from graduating with highest honors
-I still have my parents and grandparents
-I have a great support system
-I was able to afford to attend college
-I could afford books
-I have healthy food, drinkable water and clean clothes to wear
-I can sleep with a sense of safety
-I don't have to worry about where my next meal is coming from
there's a lot more where those came from....And a lot more coming

We have all been blessed in some way. I have great parents, a great brother, and an awesome boyfriend. I have a house to live in, a great job, food to eat, money to spend. I have everything I need and plenty more.

1. God has protected me from death on more than one occasion
2. My best friend accepted Christ and he thanked me for having a part in it.

I've been very very blessed:
--I have a great supportive family with my Mom, Dad, Sister and other relatives.
--I have an amazing boyfriend who is also my best friend and ya though we have some problems, we've been able to work through all of them with alot of love.
--I have found a place in Christianity that I feel truly at home finally.
--I'm doing well in college.
--I'll be graduating next semester and then student teaching.
--I have a place to live.
--I have my health.

I am a full time college student with NO job. I have taken out minimal student loans and live off of disability and my student loans to make school, and housing ends meet. I am doing wonderfully, God has truely provided everything I've needed for the past few years. I am looking forward to moving in June though, so I can get into Univ. and be in a place where jobs are more available. I don't drive either, sot hat makes it hard, but I know the Lord has His own plan of rmy life.

God has blessed me these past few months with an amazing girlfriend who loves God and encourages me in my walk with Christ. Not to mention she is beautiful.

This past year has really opened my eyes to what God is doing in my life. In high school I wanted to drop out, I hated school so much, it was boring and I felt like I was wasting my time, I would spend more time cutting classes with my friends than actually being there. I got through. Enrolled in college mainly for the reason that I though I would have to get a degree to get a decent job, still had no clue what I wanted to do and didn't really want to be there in the first place. My second semester I got hired for the job I am working at now and I had been praying that God would open doors for me, over the next few months I found a job that I was interested in through some of my co-workers and found out that my school has a certificate program which I will be starting in 2007 and by 2008 I can start the new job.
Also recently my car just flat out gave out on me. This had me stressed out, I really can't be without a car, I'm very busy running back and forth from home, school, and work. The first car I looked at (a dealership) was the car that I got. I was only without a car for a little over a week and the odds of me being able to get the car were slim to none due to the fact that I have no credit history. Somehow the dealership got my loan approved (although the interest rate is high). A week later my place of employment got into a Credit Union, in a few months I will be refinanced at a rate that is more than half of my rate now.
Sorry it's long...this is only stuff that has happened this past year (I started laughing midway through this, just thinking about all that God has done for me is funny)

I have been so blessed! I was blessed with life. I was blessed to be raised Christian and Catholic. I am in a private college, one of the best Catholic colleges, theology wise, in the country. I had an awesome upbringing and my family always got along. My parents showed me real love. I have had very few hardships in my life. I am very thankful for that. However, I know that they lie ahead for me, but I also know that God will always be there for me, holding my hand.

I was born in the richest country in the world into a family that in respect to the world was rich. I have a job that is great. I deserve none of this. To be blessed with wealth (world standards not Americas') is also a responsiblility to the world. God makes some Christians wealthy and others not. As brothers and sisters in Christ we should also bless eachother with what we are blessed with. Money, talents, desires, ourselves.. ect ect. Praise God for his blessings.
