There has been no mention... are they circling the island? Will we see them again? It seems a little strange not to hear "Waaaaalt!" on every episode....

According to the Season 2 DVD extras, Vincent was on the boat with Michael and Walt, but this may have been cut for continuity reasons.
Huh very interesting thought...Now we know why Benry was adament on Michael taking the boat in a certain directions. So he wouldn't see the second island.
I don't think anyone has forgotten Anna Lucia or Libby.![]()
You know, if you listen to a seashell ...
Especially Hurley - poor guy! All he wanted to do was have a picnic with her.
The Losties will have to build a nut house.Yeah, poor Hurley - first that, then kidnapped by the Others...
We'll see how he's really doing at some point, I imagine.
The Losties will have to build a nut house.
I do have one thought here.
The last scene of season 2 featured those two guys at some sort of `ice station zebra' type deal. They were *off* the island and *not* in a flashback. Neither was the gal they called.
Now...keeping that in mind, were there not a rumor percolating that there might be an episode or two this season that takes place *off* the island? I can almost envision Michael and Walt being hauled over the coals by that gal - *knowing* that they are withholding something major, but instead sticking to some story about them being the sole survivors of flight 815 who just happened to find a derlict charter boat come drifting past them.
Given what Michael in particular did to get off that island, it would not be in his interests to tell what really happened. Likely,he'd be supported in this by the sponsors of the `others'.
