So Many Bands, only Two Ears

Browsing the strings, I see Switchfoot, Skillet, and others! I'm listening to Galactic Cowboys right now, and during the span of this fine day, I've recorded sampler CDs to include Eowyn, This Train, Superchick, Ashley Cleveland, King's X, Red Sea, Joy Williams, B.O.B., and lots more!

Last weekend, I got to hear John Rueben, Chris Tomlin, Plus One, Steven Curtis Chapman, Building 429, KJ-52, Casting Crowns, Mission Road, Kutless, Pillar, and Relient K, and lots of other unsigned bands. That was a great weekend!

What's your favorite band comparison site? I get lots of people asking me about Christian music, and often can't relate to the secular bands they usually listen to.

Sounds like you were at Rock the Light in K.C.

I've always disliked Secular / Christian comparison charts. To me it implies that the Christians are only aspiring to sound like a known secular band, rather than standing on their own talent. What do you think?
