Those of you who argue against GOD, face this fact:

You are finite.
You do not know everything. You are always learning something new. We all are.
You are not perfect (we all make mistakes and we all have flaws in our character).

So when you argue against the existence of GOD, why should I trust your reasoning?

Even scientific papers contradict one another. Logic leads me to assume its because either the scientists who wrote and published them are complete morons, or otherwise they are flawed just like everyone else. They are not perfect people.

One paper says that beer is good for you, and another says its not. The two papers contradict one another.

Who is the real idiot here?

On the other hand:

GOD is infinite.
GOD knows everything.
GOD is perfect.

He seems like someone who I could trust to be reliable and learn from.

When you are arguing against GOD, it is like you are saying you know better than Him. I cannot imagine anything more arrogant than that. It's like saying that the finite knows better than the infinite. That is illogical.

I am sorry about the title, you guys. I forgot to edit it before I posted it. Please forgive me. It embarrasses me but there is nothing I can do about it now.

You see? I am finite as well. I am forgetful, and I make mistakes all the time.

It reads: "So give me one good reason why I should trust human reasoning."

Jacqueline, I noticed you posted this in creation and theistic evolution. If you should manage to get into a debate with an evolutionist, just start spelling everything like this:

"Give me kone godo raisin why I shoudl twrsut human reasnong!!!"

Keep at it and be really emphatic with every single word, like you're about to come unglued or something if they set you off. I'm sure that would be a really entertaining thread to read. :)

There are Christians who believe in evolution, so belief in evolution doesn't require that God doesn't exist. Nor does it require that humans are not born sinners. Nor does it require that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, didn't come in human form, live a perfect life, perform miracles, die on a cross for all of our sins, only to be resurrected three days later and ascend into Heaven. Claiming in any way that evolution disproves God or Christianity is giving them a freebie. You don't need to give them that.

Learning how to reason can help you see things like that. Improving yourself gives the Holy Spirit a better tool to work with.
