So, did anyone watch that other show?

I didn't watch. After Dancing with the Stars was over I retreated to the bedroom to straighten up my long over due mess.

(I am not a pack rat)
I thought I told you to rub your husband's feet and give him hot cocoa.

I stopped taking orders from my LAST husband. LOL

As long as he was sitting in front of the tv watching Daybreak, I was having nothing to do with him. *puts foot down hard* "Ouch that hurt."

I didn't watch it because:

1) I was in mourning for Lost being on hiatus until Feb
2) Out of sheer annoyance of the coming attractions for it every 5 minutes. If I had to see Taye Diggs stare at that woman staring back from the bed - saying "I love you" - just ONE MORE TIME!!!

Yes, I watched it.

Three and a half bloody repeats of the same day during the two hour pilot or premier or whatnot. (I'd thought maybe one and a half repeats when I started watching it).

Hmmm...mostly its a frame-up/conspiracy type deal. The cop is being framed for a murder the night before, and there is a ...extremely brutal and arrogant secret group... that *really* wants to make certain the frame sticks (at one point there is a three way shootout between the secret group, the cops, and the hero). There is an assortment of minor and not so minor mysteries, which might *almost* make it worthwhile, or at least barely tolerable.

I suspect that he is not the only person re-living that particular day. The ...secret group... based on the preview might or might not have a clue as to whats going on.

What is interesting, is that while the day resets, what happens to the hero's body carries over. He gets beat up the one day ... and wakes up badly bruised the next. He gets shot the third time around ... and wakes up at the start of day four half dead from a bullet wound.

Still not watching but had a dream I watched it and I was getting mad at all the noise in the room. Crazy what our minds can do.
Did you have the same dream 3 times with just some details changed?

Well, I watched `Daybreak' again tonight. It is getting ...convoluted. What should have been a major clue was more cryptic than informative. What was a periphial character in the two hour premier turns out to be more ...central. At times, it were almost interesting. But nobody here cares, I'm sure.

Tonights episode is had something happen that shows a hint of a change in the nature of the whole show. He still went through three bleepin repeats of the day, mostly trying to fix the `junkie boyfriend' situation with another character, but this time, some of the changes he made had a carryover effect. That character actually made a change in her day on her own the last time around, before he had a chance to intervene. There are also hints that other characters might be becoming aware of the `repeat effect'. As to the rest, it is growing extremely complicated.

Oh well...

Last nights episode focused on a police standoff situation - in the police station, no less. For the first time, a character tried batting around some sort of approach for a scientific explanation as to whats happening. And there was a run in with another person who might also be living this day over and over - but this one is flat out nuts.
