Haha! I was talking to my friend about that this evening. I see a certain political attitude that says government shouldn't support as you put it "unemployed parasites". I see it as the only humane behavior in a world that is becoming increasingly more technological. In fact as I see it, eventually all the manual labor in the world will be done by robots, providing all of us the opportunity of eutopia - we can all be sponging unemployed parasites! That is the ultimate slave society - a society of self-driven slaves. There will of course be a few who aspire to do more, whose natural interests might, say, be the development of robotic technologies. Such aspiring slaves would be rewarded by the slave keeper by a greater economic remuneration than that of the default slave. Then we realized that we already have that society! Only thing is that he and I feel that our remuneration is not enough and we started talking about Robin Hood. Well anyway, thanks for the topic!
