CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

this was semi-inspired by the "what do people know about you" thread. people tend to think that i make up random facts about everything, but i actually just know lots of random facts about a lot of stuff. but, then you ask me to elaborate on the subject and i'll run away. so, with that said, which category do you fit in?

There are certain things (like graphic design, music, movies, literature, etc.) that I know alot about, but there are more little factoids that I know about everything else.

I remember some of the oddest little tidbits that I pick up from all kinds of random sources. The only problem is that I can never remember the sources, so when people don't believe my facts, I have nothing to back them up with except, "Ummm...I think it was something on the Discovery channel."

i know alot about alot of things? most classes, and concepts are not new and easy for me to comprehend (except grammar =/ ) Everything from walking to flying a plane seems to come natural, i am one of those people i guess you would hate in school who it comes nuturally to

ok, ok, this poll has flaws...i should've made a "i know all" option. but then again, i bet those people that "know all" know much less than they think. or maybe i just wish they do...
