  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So some young adults get stuck in a dorm room at college, and some get into small apartments.
SO I thought it would be fun to hear some of the quirks of small apartment living...

My bathroom in my apartment is small and old. I mean, so small, that I can reach over the toilet to the sink from the shower and that's the entire bathroom... I have a short arm, too... and!- our shower door doesn't close, and the bathroom door doesn't close- but it works out well, because you can hold the bathroom door shut while using the toilet.

Haha, your turn!:D

LOL!!! That was cute!

Well I'm not a college student anymore, but I live in a one bedroom appt. It's my younger brother's appt. We're staying with him temporarily, but hubby and I sleep in the living room LOL!!!! And my bro gets the master (it's his place) There is no privacy, but since it's temporary none of us mind at all. We still have stuff we haven't unpacked and piled up the walls because there's no room to take them out and put them somewhere LOL! So when we want to use something sometimes, we take it out of the box, and when we're done, we just pack it back up again LOL!!! It's a cute place though. It's so much easier to enjoy it when you know it won't be forever. :)

We lived in an old farmhouse apartment. If you stepped on the right floor boards the closest door to you would open. We also never had to turn on our own heat in that apt. because our elderly neighbor kept her house so hot that it heated ours.
LOL!!!!!!!

thats kinda funny...in my hubby's 1st apartment, he bathroom door wouldn't open! there was some weird trick to getting it to open....you had to turn the knob and lift up and then pull and kick the door....or some crazy combination like that. i got stuck the first time i used the bathroom there. :help: :p
