Smacking Myself in the face while sleeping??

Just like the heading says.......i have been, quite frequently waking up to my own hand swatting myself in the face! And this is no love tap either there's really some force behind it. Has anyone ever had this happen before? It's really starting to get annoying...and I was wondering, does anyone think this could be a spirit? I doubt that it is, but i cant really think of any other explanation. Well, lemme know what you all think. Thanks in advance!

But seriously, Heartland is right. It could be a sign of sleep apnoea. In your half asleep, half awake state, you could be trying to wake yourself because you know you're at risk.

If it's uncontrolable it's a spirit ... get a new pillow, clean your room, listen to worship music before you go to bed.

Try to stop it next time using, " in Jesus name".

Sometimes I have to put on the full armor of God before I go to bed and yes this has happened to me, but not in a long time.

I was wide awake however, not sleeping. The act of hitting yourself in the head should be a concern to your pastor ...

ask for prayer and don't let the devil get away with it.

An ancestor spirit could be the problem ...

I dunno, but I wake up with bruises sometimes. Pretty freaky sometimes if it's a bad one, but you just learn to deal with it. I just ignore it and go on with life. Seriously, I wouldn't put too much stock into the whole "demon" theory. Christians give them way too much power. If you got, demons then I got demons. If that's the case, then we're both screwed. So let me know. *wink*
